New Moon Solar Eclipse in Scorpio: Endings are Beginnings

On October 25, we experience a potent New Moon Solar Eclipse at 2°07’ of Scorpio, a transformative and intense lunation that will remind us that all endings are beginnings in disguise. This cosmic event is going to last for approximately four hours, and peak at 7:01 AM ET.

The Eclipse will be most strongly felt in Europe, the Middle East, Western Asia, and Northern Africa. This cosmic event, which should not be watched with the naked eye, is going to be visible from some of these areas, particularly from the North-East of Europe, Ukraine, Russia, and the Middle East.

Solar Eclipses: Omens of Impending Changes

Since the beginning of times, Eclipses have been considered omens of impending change and have been equally feared and respected. Humans have always been aware of the fact that the light of the Sun is what makes life on Earth possible: for this reason, Solar Eclipses in particular were not considered a fortunate event, as the sunlight is prevented from reaching us. Nonetheless, we know this is just temporary, and darkness does not have to be negative or scary. Sometimes, when the lights go out, we are drawn to turn inwards and we can see more clearly.

solar eclipse in scorpio

Solar Eclipses occur when a New Moon happens close to the Lunar Nodes, the points marking the intersection between the orbit of the Moon and the Ecliptic, the apparent path of the Sun from our perspective on Earth. From our perspective, the Moon and the Sun are conjunct. Astronomically speaking, the Moon is placed between the Sun and the Earth and, on Solar Eclipses, the shadow of the Moon temporarily prevents the light of the Sun from reaching the Earth. Even if the Moon’s dimensions are smaller than the Sun’s, since the Moon is closer to us from our perspective, they appear of the same size due to their particular alignment on Eclipses.

The current Eclipse is going to be partial, as the alignment to the Lunar Nodes is not tight, so the Sun is only going to be partially covered by the Moon.

New Moon Solar Eclipse conjunct the South Node: Purging the Past

As Solar Eclipses always coincide with New Moons, they represent potent new beginnings. However, as this Eclipse is connected to the Lunar South Node, it comes with a flavor or a feeling of an ending. The South Node is the point of the Moon’s orbit associated with our past and old emotional attachments: it represents where we come from, what we already know, and what we are familiar with. The South Node is always opposed to the North Node, describing something unfamiliar, unknown, and unexplored, a path that offers us the key to balance existing tendencies.

When Eclipses happen on the South Node, they stimulate a purging process. The proximity to the Descending Node, also referred to as the Dragon’s tail, is an indicator of the fact that old stories, old emotions, and old attachments are going to come up to be processed, released, or integrated. The past will resurface these days, and we have an opportunity to fully let go of something we used to identify with, something we have been attached to, something that has been holding us back, maybe without us even noticing it. Releasing the past will create the space for something new to come in. In hindsight, we will see clearly that what looked like the end of a cycle was the beginning of a new one.

All these themes are emphasized by the fact that the Eclipse is happening in the sign of Scorpio and is squaring Scorpio’s modern ruler, Pluto, both of them having to do with death and rebirth cycles, with all transformational processes that require us to shed skin or become the butterfly.

New Moon Solar Eclipse in Scorpio: Honoring the Cyclicity of Life

The Sun, the Moon, and the South Node are in the sign of Scorpio, conjunct Venus, and square Pluto.

Our emotional world is more complex when the Moon is in Scorpio, our intuition is powerfully strengthened, and our capacity for emotional and psychological transformation is maximized. This placement is associated with intense magnetism, as well as with instinctual reactions that have the potential to be very destructive, both for ourselves and for others. A risk correlated with the Moon in Scorpio is allowing the intensity of our emotional states to keep us trapped, stagnant, disempowered, and oppressed. Through this combination of energies, we learn that it is necessary to feel the whole range of our emotions, yet we have to take care of not identifying with them or with the story that we associate with them.

solar eclipse in scorpio

Interestingly, Scorpio is the archetype that correlates with Soul evolution and metamorphic processes, nonetheless, it is also one that can express a powerful resistance to change and transformation, due to the strength of its attachments and its emotions. The Taurus-Scorpio polarity is the axis of finances, sexuality, sensuality, intimacy, our values versus others’ values, and our personal resources versus the resources we share. These are the signs where the Nodes currently are and, consequently, where Eclipses are happening. The activation of the Taurus-Scorpio axis teaches us to embrace the dance of holding on and letting go, building and destroying, and to accept that nothing is permanent in the world of form.

Solar Eclipse conjunct Venus: Transforming Relationships and Through Relationships

Venus in Scorpio is passionate and devouring, and her presence in Scorpio, very close to Sun and Moon, emphasizes the role of transforming our relationships and allowing our relationships to transform us during this Eclipse season. This configuration underlines the imperative to restructure and revolutionize the way we connect with both ourselves and others. Our connections and our relating style, as well as our value system, and the way we value ourselves, will undoubtedly change as a result of the inner and outer transformations that are going to take place these days.

The presence of the Moon and Venus in Scorpio suggests that our need to generate conditions that allow us to feel safe and secure is tied up with our desire to establish intimacy and depth of relating with others. This may lead to, consciously or unconsciously, engaging in power games, push-pull dynamics, trying to manipulate others to keep them hooked to us, or attracting someone who tries to do so to us. If these patterns show up for us, it would be valuable to ask ourselves what is the need or the perceived lack underneath the surface-level desire that we are trying to meet or fill vicariously.

Sun, Moon, and Venus square Pluto: Potential for Substantial Transformation

The Sun, the Moon, and Venus in the first degrees of Scorpio are all squaring Pluto in the last degrees of Capricorn. The alignment to Pluto intensifies the Scorpionic undertone of the Eclipse and motivates us to dig deeper to uncover the motivations and intentions behind the desires and cravings that drive ourselves and others.

Issues around intimacy, trust, and vulnerability are likely to come into the spotlight during the upcoming lunar cycle, and especially during the Eclipse Window. We may have opportunities to notice how we are dealing with feelings of loss, betrayal, and abandonment, and pay attention to what is triggered from our past when challenging, uncomfortable, or unexpected experiences present themselves.

There is a high potential for a substantial transformation of our sense of identity, our purpose, our values, our relationships, and our way to process emotions around this time. The tension generated by these three squares to Pluto has the potential to motivate us to empower and transform ourselves, it may generate irrational fears leading to a need to remain in control at all costs, or it may contribute to feelings of disempowerment and helplessness. Despite what may be happening these days, what matters the most is what we are learning about ourselves in the journey, and how aware we can remain amid intense change.

Entering the Eclipse Window: Time of Agitation

Throughout the upcoming weeks, being intentional in creating moments dedicated to grounding, slowing down, nourishing ourselves, spending time in nature, and simply winding down is going to be highly beneficial for our nervous system and emotional health. The lunar cycle that is starting now culminates in a Lunar Eclipse in Taurus tightly conjunct Uranus, likely to feel quite restless and electric.

During the time leading up to this event, we may feel that everything is happening too quickly and unexpectedly for us to fully grasp its meaning or purpose. We may have the feeling we are losing control over our lives and that chaos is taking over. These transitions can be uncomfortable, and the discomfort we feel is directly correlated with our level of resistance to change. The Eclipse Window is a time of agitation, meant to shake up our reality to allow new paths and directions to emerge out of chaos.

This New Moon Solar Eclipse in Scorpio represents an invitation to honor the cyclicity of life. This cosmic event reminds us that in all periods of loss, transition, and endings the seeds of new life are already being planted.

Scorpio Season 2022: Opportunities for Profound Transformation

October 23 is a very active day, astrologically: within a few hours of each other, we experience three relevant energetic shifts. At 12:07 AM ET Saturn stations direct in Aquarius, at 03:52 AM ET Venus enters Scorpio, and at 06:36 AM ET the Sun enters Scorpio, shortly after Venus met the Sun on the last degree of Libra for the Venus Starpoint in the sign.

The Moon is currently dark, in her Balsamic phase, and we are preparing for a New Moon Solar Eclipse in Scorpio coming up in only two days. Today is likely to feel energetically intense: let’s see in more detail what these three shifts are about.

Saturn direct in Aquarius: Time of Maturation

When planets station direct, they offer us an invitation to slowly begin moving forward and implementing tangible changes in our lives according to what we learned and understood during the retrograde phase. Saturn, the Lord of Karma, is the planet associated with our maturation process, with time and space, it is the principle that generates structure by giving definition, containment, and solidity to what exists through the creation of a boundary. Saturn is connected to traditions, with the conditioning we internalize, with all boundaries and limitations, with our relationship with authority and with the rules, limits, and regulations we encounter.

When Saturn is activated by transit, it offers us an invitation to reflect on what we desire to build and create, on how we can make it last through time, and on how we desire to make a relevant impact on society. It is a good time to assess where we are at in our emotional maturation process and what has been shifting during the last few months.

Saturn’s transit through Aquarius represents an opportunity to build alternative systems and structures that are aligned with our deconditioning and individuation journeys. Aquarius, Saturn’s traditional domicile, has to do with breaking rules that are ready to be broken and establishing new ones that support innovation and progress. Since 2020, Saturn has been inviting us to become rebels with a cause and trust our inner voice as our compass instead of relying on external authorities and institutions.

scorpio season 2022

The Lord of Karma stationing direct in the sign of the Water Bearer is inviting us to take responsibility for making decisions that allow us to be in integrity and align the external structure of our lives with the inner restructuring that has been taking place during the retrograde.

Saturn square Uranus & the Nodes, Saturn trine Mercury

Saturn is currently at 18º35’ Aquarius in a tight square to retrograde Uranus at 17º36’ of Taurus. The two planets have been in aspect since 2021 and from now on, Saturn and Uranus begin to separate from each other, as Saturn is in direct motion while Uranus is still retrograde.

The ongoing Saturn-Uranus square has been an opportunity to explore how our past conditioning, fears, and insecurities are still preventing us from building a structure for our life that feels aligned with the person we are becoming. It reflects the tension we experience as we transition from old patterns, systems, and structures to new and unexplored ones. The square of Saturn and Uranus offers us chances to contemplate our relationship with change, the unknown, and the uncertain, during a time of fast shift in personal and collective values, financial paradigms, and socio-political conditions.

Saturn has also been squaring the Lunar Nodes in Taurus and Scorpio for approximately six months and this aspect is still active, even if Saturn now begins separating from the Nodes, which move retrograde for most of the time. Saturn’s square to the Nodes points to the importance of being accountable for how we are living our lives and for the choices we are making and invites us to look at our relationship with commitment, responsibility, self-discipline, and integrity.

Saturn stationing direct could bring full circle a process that has been unfolding since 2021 when Saturn and Uranus began squaring each other. These days, there is the potential to receive practical and tangible insights relative to what to do to move toward the future we envision and desire. Saturn’s trine to Mercury in Libra can facilitate the objective understanding, communication, and integration of the ideas and information emerging at this time.

Venus enters Scorpio: Cultivating True Intimacy

Shortly after Saturn stations direct and just a few hours after the exact Venus-Sun conjunction in Libra, Venus and the Sun begin transiting through Scorpio. Here, the Goddess of Love inspires us to value depth of connection, intimacy, and transformative exchanges. When Venus is in Scorpio, superficial relating doesn’t feel appealing or interesting: we want all or nothing and we aren’t much willing to compromise on it. This transit offers us an invitation to work on deepening our intimacy with ourselves, as well as our intimacy with others.

Venus’ yearly journey through Scorpio is a chance to transform disempowering relating patterns, gain a more profound understanding of the psychology behind human connection, and explore healing processes that only happen through open and vulnerable connection with another human. Something to be mindful of during this transit is confusing intensity with love, getting addicted to high sensation while abandoning ourselves and neglecting our core values and needs.

Venus is transiting over the Lunar South Node on November 2, marking a time of karmic encounters and fated meetings. These days, people from our past may come back into our lives suddenly and unexpectedly, as Venus is also opposing Uranus in Taurus shortly after, on November 5. We may have chances to find closure of something that wasn’t fully solved before, or gain a new, more objective understanding of it. On November 7, Venus squares Saturn in Aquarius, pointing at opportunities to gain awareness of those places where we still feel unworthy and unlovable, or fear intimacy and rejection. The Venus-Saturn square is an invitation to work on scarcity mindsets and improve our receptivity. This aspect motivates us to work hard and invest our energy and time into something we value and believe in for the long term.

Scorpio season 2022: Opportunities for Profound Transformation

The Sun brings the spotlight on the area of the Zodiac it is transiting, and when he travels through Scorpio, the spotlight goes on everything that is below the surface of our conscious awareness. Scorpio season invites us to gain a deeper awareness of our emotional and psychological nature and gives us chances to uncover those patterns of behaviors we unconsciously rely upon to generate a sense of safety and security. Power games and manipulation tactics could be revealed, and we will have opportunities to deal differently with situations we encounter.

scorpio season 2022

The Sun’s presence in Scorpio gives us powerful determination and willpower while reflecting a tendency to gravitate towards fixations and obsessions, as well as an inclination to hide and avoid vulnerability in order to protect ourselves. The emphasis on the Scorpio archetype allows us to access an enormous healing potential and increases our chances for deep personal and collective transformation.

Scorpio Season 2022: Navigating Upcoming Eclipses

Last but not least, during Scorpio season 2022 Eclipses are taking place. On October 25, the New Moon Solar Eclipse at 1º59’ of Scorpio conjunct Venus reminds us that all endings are beginning. This Eclipse is connected to the Lunar South Node and it is likely to bring up past emotions and attachments that we have to let go of in order to move forward without being caught up in cycles of repetition and suffering.

On November 8, the Full Moon Lunar Eclipse in Taurus on the Lunar North Node, tightly conjunct Uranus and square Saturn, marks a time of releases and culminations, unexpected turning points, and shocking revelations. The proximity of Uranus to the Moon and the involvement of Saturn in the configuration indicate high potential for potent collective shifts, impactful world events or natural events, as well as twists of fate in our personal lives that will bring to the forefront the need to confront our conscious and unconscious resistance to change.

New Moon Solar Eclipse in Taurus: Revolutionary Shifts

On April 30, 4:27 PM ET, we experience the first Eclipse of 2022, a New Moon Solar Eclipse at 10º35’ of Taurus. The Eclipse Portal is open: we are entering a period of liminality, revolutionary shifts, and increased evolutionary pressure.

Time feels different at this moment of the year. Eclipse season is always unpredictable, and this Solar Eclipse is conjunct Uranus, the Great Awakener. This is another powerful indicator of sudden changes, unexpected transitions, and unforeseen opportunities. The upcoming lunar cycle will undoubtedly be full of surprises, breakthroughs, and radical changes.

This cosmic event in Taurus will be only visible from some regions of the Southern Hemisphere of the globe, particularly from Chile, Argentina, Falkland Islands, and Antarctica. Nonetheless, it will indeed be felt everywhere, and especially from those of us who have personal planets or angles around the 10º of Fixed signs Taurus, Leo, Scorpio, and Aquarius.

Solar Eclipses: Finding the Light Within

Eclipses have been both feared and revered for thousands of years. They are one of the Astronomical phenomena that were first studied, analyzed, and interpreted through divination, and have been always considered an omen of impending changes. We experience four to six Eclipses each year. These events take place when the luminaries align on the Lunar Nodes, the two points of intersection between the Ecliptic, the apparent path of the Sun from our perspective on Earth, and the orb of the Moon.

Solar Eclipses happen when the Sun is partially or totally covered by the shadow of the Moon, traveling between the Sun and the Earth in a precise alignment that creates the illusion that Sun and Moon have the same dimension. The Sun is 400 times bigger than the Moon: however, the perspective that we have from Earth at this particular time generates the phenomenon of Eclipses.

The Sun rules our vitality, our energy, it is what makes life on Earth possible. As on a Solar Eclipse its rays are prevented from reaching us, the ancients considered it an unfortunate event. Superstition aside, Solar Eclipses are huge opportunities for reinvention and renewal: they represent an invitation to turn inwards and find the light within ourselves. This may be a time to focus on being rather than doing, to allow ourselves to sit in darkness, in a space of void, and let creativity emerge out of chaos.

Solar Eclipse in Taurus conjunct the North Node: Exploring New Paths

Solar Eclipses are supercharged New Moons. They mark potent new beginnings and pivotal shifts in the course of our lives and have the potential to begin a cycle that is completely different from what we have experienced before. This month, the Sun and the Moon meet in Taurus as they approach the North Node of the Moon and Uranus. This Solar Eclipse is partial, as the alignment with the North Node is not tight. The cycle will culminate in a Lunar Eclipse in Scorpio that will be total, as the luminaries will be closer to the Nodes.

Taurus is slow, sensual, grounded, and stability-oriented. This sign is connected with our survival instinct and our capacity to generate conditions of stability and security that allow life to blossom and flourish. Taurus has a strong correlation with wealth, abundance, and money, as well as with our capacity to receive and develop resilience and autonomy. It is associated with what we value and with how we value ourselves.

New Moon Solar Eclipse in Taurus

The North Node of the Moon is the point in space indicating our evolutionary path, our destiny, and the direction we are meant to follow. Its transit through Taurus, lasting until July 2023, stresses the importance of nurturing our connection to our physical body, our senses, Nature, sensuality, pleasure, and abundance. It is an invitation to slow down, feel ourselves, take a break from the frantic rhythm of life, and remember how nourishing it is to simply be present and inhabit the body. It represents an opportunity to listen more carefully to ourselves and to the Earth.

Solar Eclipse conjunct Uranus: Acceleration of our Individuation Process

The Sun and the Moon are conjunct Uranus, also known as the Great Awakener. The activation of Uranus increases the level of unpredictability, already high during any Eclipse season. Uranus has been in the sign of the Bull since 2018, shaking up our foundations, disrupting what we perceived as stable, and inviting us to redefine our values, our idea of security, and our financial systems.

These days, we may be required to embrace change before we feel ready for it. The process may feel particularly uncomfortable, as Taurus is a sign that is about slowing down, creating stability, and it is not naturally inclined to change. The role of Uranus is to accelerate our individuation process, increase our resilience, facilitate new ideas and insights, and reduce our resistance to change, even when it doesn’t conform to our expectations.

New Moon Solar Eclipse in Taurus

On the personal level, we can expect a surge in our desire for freedom, an urge to break free from restrictions and oppression, an inclination to question our existing values, and to detach from any tendency to conform to what the mainstream expects from us. On a collective level, unexpected changes in the global economy, important fluctuations in financial markets, disruption to food and energy production and distribution, and social upheavals are likely scenarios.

Venus conjunct Jupiter & Neptune: Healing Opportunities, Dreams, & Magic

Venus is the planetary ruler of Taurus: the condition of the Goddess of Love gives us more information about this Eclipse and how it may manifest and unfold. Venus is currently in Pisces, the sign of her exaltation, in between Neptune and Jupiter and tightly conjunct the latter. The Venus-Jupiter conjunction is considered to be one of the most fortunate, lucky alignments of the year, and this time it is even more the case as they are both transiting their shared domicile.

During the last few days, Venus has also been bathing into the soft, mystical energy of Neptune, still very close to both Venus and Jupiter, an invitation to keep attuning to the dreamy frequency of the Jupiter-Neptune conjunction.

This magical alignment magnifies our desire for peace, pleasure, beauty, romance, luxury, and indulgence. It increases our optimism, inspires us to dream big, and supports our urge to make new experiences and learn more about relationships. The Venus-Jupiter-Neptune conjunction will support our interpersonal connections and indicates a high potential for forgiveness, heart opening, and healing experiences.

Mars is also in Pisces, and in a sextile aspect to the Sun and the Moon in Taurus. This alignment indicates the potential for favorable opportunities to take constructive action to move closer to our dreams. The abundance of planets in Pisces will inspire us to deepen our connection with the Universe and embrace a spiritual perspective of life.

New Moon Solar Eclipse in Taurus: Riding the Waves of Change

During this Solar Eclipse, Pluto, the planetary ruler of the Scorpio South Node, is very active as it is stationary retrograde. Celestial bodies that are stationary are very powerful: as they are closer to Earth, their potency increases. The influence of Pluto underlines the importance of letting go and releasing resistance to change during the upcoming lunar cycle, which culminates in an intense Total Lunar Eclipse in Scorpio conjunct the South Node of the Moon.

The effects of Eclipses keep unfolding for six months, so don’t worry if you don’t understand immediately what is the purpose of what is taking place in your life, or what the shifts you are experiencing are truly about, on a deeper level. This is a time to ride the wave of change, to be receptive, and strive to remain open despite discomfort or confusion.

The Solar Eclipse in Taurus on the North Node of the Moon could indicate a sense of not knowing how to move towards our purpose as unexpected shifts in our lives may encourage us to change direction or modify something in our existing plans. Unforeseen changes taking place now could end up being a blessing in disguise, and allow us to know and trust our path more deeply.

This cosmic event could come with a desire to revolutionize our life, our values, and our creative expression. It is likely to inspire many of us to get out of stagnation, leave a comfort zone, find the courage to make radically different choices, and follow our hearts with faith.

New Moon Total Solar Eclipse in Sagittarius: Breaking Point

On December 4, 02:34 AM ET, we experience a Total Solar Eclipse at 12°16’ Sagittarius. This cosmic event will be visible from Antarctica and, in part, from some Southern regions of the Southern hemisphere of the globe. While Lunar Eclipses can be watched safely, Solar Eclipses should never be watched with the naked eye.

This New Moon Total Solar Eclipse is a breaking point that culminates a cycle of 18 months during which we experienced Eclipses on the Gemini-Sagittarius axis: the Lunar Nodes are entering Taurus and Scorpio in January, beginning a new karmic cycle. For the upcoming year and a half, Eclipses will happen in Taurus and Scorpio: this is the last one in Sagittarius until 2029.

To celebrate the arrival of New Moon Total Solar Eclipse in Sagittarius, on December 4, 9:45 PM ET, we are hosting Global Live New Moon Total Solar Eclipse Meditation on our YouTube channel. Solar Eclipse on the South Node: a Beginning with Flavor of an Ending

A New Moon takes place when the Moon joins the Sun on the same degree of the same Zodiac sign. These events mark the beginning of the lunar cycle: they are a moment to set intentions, plant seeds, start anew, and envision our future. Solar Eclipses are very intense New Moons that take place when the luminaries align close to the North or the South Node of the Moon: they mark potent turning points in our lives and in collective history, and they often correspond with life-changing events.

The current Eclipse is happening on the South Node: this point in space represents something we know well, something we master, something we are familiar with, talents and gifts we naturally express, qualities we easily connect with. It relates to our past, our karmic history, and our emotional attachments. When a New Moon Solar Eclipse takes place on the lunar South Node, it can be considered a new beginning with the flavor of an ending that requires a lot of letting go. As there won’t be another Eclipse in Sagittarius for the next eight years, this is, even more, the case.

Total Solar Eclipse in Sagittarius

Sun and Moon aligning on the South Node bring up unfinished business, unresolved issues, deeply buried emotions, something we need to integrate, release, or detach from. The current Total Solar Eclipse sets in motion a process of purification and purging: as it is happening in the sign of Sagittarius, this is likely to highlight the need to let go of beliefs, attachment to ideologies, philosophies, and ways of making sense of the world that we no longer feel aligned with.

Total Solar Eclipse in Sagittarius: Dissolution of Beliefs

Eclipses represent a time of high volatility, fast change, and unpredictability, where time feels different than usual and out-of-the-ordinary experiences become the norm. Solar Eclipses happen when the Moon is placed between the Earth and the Sun in such a way that prevents sunlight from reaching us. Because sunlight is what makes life on Earth possible, these events have been equally feared and respected for a long time.

When the Sun is being eclipsed, it may be hard to connect with our inner light, with our joy, with our creativity, with our sense of purpose. A Total Solar Eclipse in Sagittarius may correspond with a feeling of loss of meaning, a dissolution of beliefs, a sense of not knowing what our truth is anymore: during these days, connecting with feelings of hope and faith may be more challenging than usual. Nonetheless, this event sets in motion a process of rebirth, that will unfold throughout the upcoming six months.

Solar Eclipse conjunct Mercury & square Neptune

The Sun and the Moon are in tight conjunction with Mercury, the ruler of the Gemini North Node. Their aspect highlights the urge to expand our perception of reality and our intellectual understanding of it, as well as a desire to share what we are learning with others. Dogmatism, arrogance, self-righteousness, and a need to convert others to our viewpoint in order to feel safe can represent shadow expressions linked with this configuration, which highlights the importance to honor our personal truth and allow everyone else to do the same.

On another note, Sun, Moon, and Mercury are all square Neptune in Pisces. This alignment can reflect some confusion and uncertainty relative to our identity, to what we think, believe, and feel. Our sensitivity to others’ emotions, thoughts, and experiences will increase: our boundaries may be blurred or hard to keep, as we struggle to distinguish between what’s ours and what’s not. Positively, this configuration increases our fantasy, imagination, and creativity. It strengthens our connection with our intuition and inspires us to embrace a spiritual perspective of life that doesn’t require a rational or logical understanding of circumstances.

Solar Eclipse quincunx Uranus & trine Chiron

The Sun and the Moon in Sagittarius are forming a quincunx, an alignment of crisis and paradox, to Uranus in Taurus. This aspect is increasing the unpredictability already present on this Eclipse: the activation of Uranus always brings up a desire to fight for our right to be ourselves, for our freedom, and our sovereignty

Total Solar Eclipse in Sagittarius

On a collective level, the possibilities of disruptions, protests, and social unrest are very high, as our desire to break free from limitations and implement innovation and progress increases. On the personal level, there are chances of feeling emotionally alienated and disconnected from our environment and the people around us: we may find it hard to reconcile different needs, emotions, desires, and drives.

On a different note, the trine between Sun, Moon, Mercury, and Chiron in Aries suggests ease of psychological and intellectual understanding of our emotional reactions. These aspects facilitate a better awareness of what’s behind our triggers. Yet, with trines, chances and information are often unnoticed: as always, it is up to us to make the choices and the effort required to generate tangible change.

Jupiter square the Lunar Nodes & Jupiter square Mars

Jupiter, the planetary ruler of Sagittarius, is currently traveling through the last degrees of Aquarius, forming a square aspect to Mars in Scorpio and to the Lunar Nodes on the first degree of Gemini and Sagittarius. When planets square the Nodes, they point to karmic dynamics that need to be solved for our evolution to take place. As the ruler of the South Node of the Moon, Jupiter has been an important player for the last year and a half: the South Node ruler indicates our habitual way of operating in order to meet our emotional and security needs, and offers us keys to understanding patterns and attachments we bring with us from our past.

Jupiter’s transit through Aquarius has been bringing our focus on our relationship with the collective, with technology, and with social movements, highlighting the sense of alienation that often arises as a result of our deconditioning process. Jupiter enters Pisces on December 28 and will continue to square the Lunar Nodes for the upcoming weeks, emphasizing issues of authenticity, transparency, and integrity, reminding us of the importance of acting in alignment with our beliefs and values

The simultaneous square between Jupiter in Aquarius and Mars in Scorpio suggests the possibility of taking impulsive actions and a strong desire to fight to defend our freedom, our rights, our beliefs, and our ideals. Excessively destructive reactions and taking action without pondering the consequences of our choices are risks associated with this aspect.

Total Solar Eclipse in Sagittarius: Living Authentically

While the Eclipse is taking place, Venus is approaching a conjunction to Pluto in Capricorn and is in her pre-shadow phase. Venus will station retrograde on December 19, just a few hours after the Full Moon in Gemini, the lunation that culminates the cycle starting now. The symbolism of Venus will be very active during the upcoming weeks, and it will be colored by Plutonian themes of death, rebirth, and transformation. Their alignment intensifies our feelings and anticipates big changes in our relationships, in our value system, and our finances.

This Total Solar Eclipse can correspond to a sense of crises in faith and a feeling of not knowing what we believe in, not knowing how to make sense of what we are going through, of the circumstances we are facing. This is a time when we are called to detach from old beliefs and from our attachment to a certain worldview or version of the truth.

As we keep letting go of the past, we can get to a place where we feel we don’t know anything, and we can’t hold onto anything anymore: this can feel scary and disorienting. Nonetheless, welcoming the feeling of being lost and inhabiting the state of not knowing can represent an opportunity to create space for something buried within ourselves to emerge, unfold, and begin to shape a new path.

New Moon Solar Eclipse in Gemini: Thoughts Create Reality

On June 10, 06:52 AM ET, we experience a New Moon Annular Solar Eclipse at 19°42’ of Gemini. Eclipses have long-term effects, they are portals of sudden change, and often mark new beginnings and sudden endings. These powerful alignments catalyze fast and unexpected events that can correlate with pivotal turning points, both in our personal lives and in the history of humanity.

This is the second Eclipse of the current Eclipse season, and the last one happening in the sign of the Twins until 2029. The Transformative Effects of Solar Eclipses

A Solar Eclipse is a more intense and transformative New Moon. Like any other New Moon, it inaugurates a new cycle of development and represents a moment to set intentions for the time ahead. The emphasis is now on the intellectual sign of Gemini, a Mutable Air archetype. The prominence of the Mutable modality and the Air element is highlighting the importance of flexibility and adaptability, and bringing up the need to remain available to change our perspective and our strategy.

Solar Eclipses happen two to three times a year when the Moon forms a conjunction with the Sun while they are close to the Lunar Nodes, points in space marking the intersection of the orb of the Moon and the apparent path of the Sun from our perspective on Earth. The Moon travels between the Earth and the Sun, temporarily covering part of the Sun: the fact that, on Solar Eclipses, sunlight can’t reach us has been considered an omen of impending change since the beginning of time.

During an Annular Solar Eclipse, the remaining visible portion of the Sun looks like a ring around the Moon. The Solar Eclipse happening on June 10, 2021, will be at least partly visible from much of Europe, the Northern part of the US and Canada, as well as much of Asia, Northern and Western Africa, and the Arctic. To watch this cosmic event safely, we must protect our eyes with proper gear.

During Eclipse season, the veil between worlds becomes thinner: we have been traversing a portal of unpredictable transformation, a very karmic time in which everything is possible. Taking the time we need to integrate and digest the event taking place now is crucial: we can’t expect to have it all figured out yet. Welcoming any changes in our plans will help us adapt to what happens more peacefully.

Solar Eclipse conjunct the North Node in Gemini: New Learning Cycle

The Lunar Eclipse we experienced on May 26 was a Full Moon happening on the South Node, the point relative to our karmic past. It brought up a feeling of not knowing what to believe in anymore: many of us noticed a sensation of reliving the past in some way, as old fears, patterns, emotions, and behaviors resurfaced.

The Solar Eclipse in Gemini takes place while the Sun and the Moon are on the North Node of the Moon. This point, also referred to as Rahu in Vedic Astrology, correlates with our collective evolutionary direction, with the archetypal qualities we are encouraged to integrate as a way to move away from stagnation and past security attachments that aren’t supporting our growth any longer.

On this Eclipse, many of us are feeling confused and disillusioned: we are experiencing a lot of mental overwhelm and we crave clarity. However, nothing feels certain yet. While the Eclipse has the function of connecting us with our sense of purpose, we are likely to feel there is still something unresolved, and we may feel frustrated as we still have trouble thinking clearly and rationally.

Solar Eclipse conjunct Mercury & square Neptune: Clouded Perceptions

The Sun and the Moon are conjunct retrograde Mercury, and they are all in a square aspect to Neptune, the Master of Illusions. In particular, Mercury square Neptune has been going on since May 20, significantly clouding our perception of reality.

These alignments make it challenging to see things clearly and interpret what we experience in an objective and detached way. Neptune is a transcendental and spiritual planet, which tends to be perceived as vague and confusing. When Neptune is strongly active, it always increases our fantasy and leaves a lot of room for imagination, which can be good or bad.

The archetypal conflict between Gemini and Pisces is currently prominent: the rulers of the two signs, Mercury and Neptune, are both in their domicile and both in aspect to the Sun and the Moon. While Gemini tries to make sense of reality through logic and rationality, Pisces wants us to simply accept what is present and release all efforts to understand it.

The Moon square Neptune loosens our psychic and emotional boundaries: we may be more prone to absorbing other people’s emotions without realizing it, distinguishing what feelings are ours and which ones aren’t may be harder. This aspect reflects heightened sensitivity, receptivity, and impressionability.

The Sun square Neptune reflects confusion around our sense of purpose and the purpose of our experiences. At this point, we may not be able to understand the higher meaning of what we are going through, of the changes we are experiencing, of our growth process. Our self-confidence may suffer from it, and we may feel more insecure around putting ourselves out there or asserting our choices.

Retrograde Mercury square Neptune highlights feelings of disorientation. While Mercury seeks logical understanding, Neptune teaches us to surrender to forces beyond our control, improvise and flow with life rather than trying to make sense of it.

This aspect reminds us to trust our intuition, and that inspiration can come from unexpected places. Cutting distractions, spending time in stillness, connecting with Nature, and avoiding excessive use of technology will help us remain calmer and more centered, and cultivate faith in whatever life brings on our path.

New Moon Solar Eclipse in Gemini

New Moon Solar Eclipse trine Saturn: Discipline and Boundaries

The Sun, the Moon, and retrograde Mercury in Gemini are in a loose trine to Saturn in Aquarius, also in retrograde motion. Trines are supportive alignments that reflect an easy flow of energy between celestial bodies occupying signs of the same element, in this case, Air.

Retrograde Saturn in Aquarius promotes the process of questioning our current thinking and communication patterns. This transit supports us in restructuring the way we intellectually relate with and interpret reality and putting our ideas into discussion to see if they are still valid and useful.

Saturn helps us set boundaries relative to the information we take in and the amount and quality of social interactions we participate in, reminding us to choose the frequency we want to align with and not compromise on that. The trine between the Eclipse and Saturn facilitates healthy discipline and helps us avoid excessive distractions, to bring us closer to a deeper level of integrity and self-mastery.

Meanwhile, we are experiencing one of the peak moments of the signature transit of 2021. Saturn is forming a square aspect to Uranus in Taurus, which will be exact on June 14 but is already active. Their alignment corresponds to the need to deal with the resistance we encounter as we try to challenge the existing structure and build new ones that better resonate with our individuality. We may experience conflict with authority figures, and a sudden urge to break free from limitations may result in impulsive actions and unexpected confrontations.

New Moon Solar Eclipse in Gemini: Finding Peace amid Chaos

During these days, many of us are likely to notice a sense of dissonance between the ideas and beliefs we are attached to and the new information that is emerging, contradicting what we considered to be true, challenging something we have built a sense of security upon.

At this time, we are encouraged to be present with the feeling of not knowing and accept our current inability to make complete sense out of what we are experiencing, rather than trying to force the immediate resolution of situations that are causing discomfort. Uncovering lies may be a common experience, and feelings of disillusionment and deception may result.

The sense of blurriness and fogginess is likely to unravel and give space to more clarity after Mercury has stationed direct, on June 22, and especially after it completes its third square to Neptune, on July 7. Until then, the lesson is to find ways to connect to a sense of inner peace amid chaos and confusion. We are learning to navigate through possible misunderstandings by striving to be as authentic as possible, as honest as possible, both with ourselves and others.

New Moon Solar Eclipse: Finding Security Within – June 21

We are in the midst of Eclipse season: the intensity is palpable, tension is growing, we all feel the pressure, it’s impossible to ignore it.

We are now experiencing the second of the three Eclipses happening within a month. The Solar Eclipse in Cancer of June 21 follows the Lunar Eclipse in Sagittarius of June 5 and precedes the Lunar Eclipse in Capricorn of July 5.

On June 21 a rare Annular Solar Eclipse is taking place: it will last approximately six hours. The Moon, transiting between the Earth and the Sun, will cover the Sun completely: when their alignment becomes perfect, only a ring of fire will be visible from our perspective.

People living in parts of Asia and Africa will be lucky enough to be able to observe this cosmic phenomenon, which should never be watched with the naked eye.

The Timeless Power of Eclipses

Eclipses are gateways of change: ancient peoples considered them strong omens, they equally feared and revered them. They believed that, during Eclipse season, portals to other dimensions open: the veil between worlds becomes thinner, traveling to other planes becomes easier, transformation can be fast and radical.

Eclipses have been associated with several historical events impossible to forget. In this period of the year, we can easily feel like everything happens too quickly to grasp its meaning immediately. The energy can be overwhelming if we don’t know how to ground it.

We need more time than usual to integrate and digest what’s going on, and this may generate the sensation that we have no control over events: remember all is temporary, everything will pass. This is not the best time to make fixed plans: better to live the day and adapt to what happens.

When Eclipse season will be over, we are going to have time to think about what we have been through, what has shifted. During these weeks, when the energy is stronger, it is crucial to give ourselves extra time to relax. Taking care of our feelings and emotions becomes key as we enter the realms of the watery Cancer.

Solar Eclipse on the Solstice Point: a Collective Initiation

Sun and Moon transit over the North Node at 29° Gemini and immediately enter Cancer. The Eclipse happens exactly on the Solstice Point: this makes it even more relevant for us.

0° Cancer is a special degree in the Zodiac, as it marks the beginning of Summer (in the Northern hemisphere) or Winter (in the Southern hemisphere). For this reason, it represents a collective rite of passage, a moment of evolution for humanity as a whole.

It is said that what happens during the day of the Solstice dictates the energy of the following three months. The effects of an Eclipse, on the other hand, are believed to last up to six months.

This cosmic event is so significant that it could set the tone for the rest of the year. If we use its energy wisely, it can offer us amazing opportunities for growth.

Solar Eclipse on the North Node: Discovering Our Evolutionary Path

The Eclipse is happening on the North Node of the Moon, at 29° Gemini. This point in space symbolizes the direction we are encouraged to go towards in order to evolve, both individually and as a species. The Lunar Nodes change sign only every year and a half, and this is the very first Eclipse on the North Node since it shifted from Cancer to Gemini.

Once a year, when the Sun crosses the North Node, it reminds us not to waste our potential. The Moon transits there once a month, showing us that diving deep and fearlessly into our emotional depths is necessary for growth.

new moon solar eclipse

As soon as the Sun and the Moon pass over the North Node, they form a conjunction in the Cancerian waters. The Moon then obscures the Sun for a few hours, bringing our attention to the importance of living emotions with conscious awareness.

Mercury, the planetary ruler of the North Node in Gemini, has shifted retrograde in the sign of Cancer on June 18th. Its influence reminds us of the power of compassionate communication. Mercury will support us in processing and integrating the emotions coming up during the following days, inviting us to be kind to ourselves and each other.

An Unexpected Change of Direction

A Solar Eclipse is a supercharged New Moon: it represents a brand new beginning, a huge turning point for humanity as a whole, and each of us as an individual.

After embarking on a quest for knowledge throughout Gemini season, we are now asked to slow down and connect to our inner wisdom. We are encouraged to find what we seek within ourselves and shut down all external noises.

These days are very emotionally charged: the planets in Cancer remind us to go within and give space to our feelings.

This is the best moment of the year you can take advantage of if you want to radically transform your reality. Many people, during the time spent at home, realized they are not happy with the life they are living, but they are not sure about how to change it.

You can use this energy to manifest whatever you dream of: set a clear intention for the future and start actively working towards it, one step at a time. To help you fully harness this extremely powerful energy we have created a channeled Guided New Moon Solar Eclipse Meditation Audio & Super Deep & Powerful Self-Reflection Journal (we call it: Reclaiming The Feminine Wisdom). One essential part of the process of conscious manifestation, often forgotten, is the importance of feeling the sensations that reaching your goals would provoke. This New Moon Solar Eclipse in Cancer reminds us to align thoughts, desires, and emotions towards the direction we want to take.

An Emotional Paradox

There is an inherent paradox in the Cancer archetype: on the one hand, being a Cardinal sign, its function is beginning a new process, initiating something that has never been done before. On the other hand, the natural tendency of Cancer is seeking security, comfort and familiarity.

Many of us have been experiencing a contrast between two opposite desires. We have the possibility to stay in our comfort zone. Even if the conditions are not ideal, this choice provides us the feeling of safety and security we naturally long for.

On the contrary, we know that doing something completely different may make us happier, but there is no guarantee to achieve the result we expect. This choice may also imply the risk of losing what we currently have, hence causing some sort of insecurity.

The hesitation to let go of what makes us feel safe is something many of us face when we try to manifest a different life. Holding on to what provides security prevents us from creating the space necessary for something new to emerge.

It is not easy at all: we all have conscious and unconscious emotional attachments to our current situation, whether we like it or not. Knowing what to expect makes us feel safe, which is a basic human need: this is why the period of uncertainty we are living can be so hard to deal with.

The medicine to overcome this emotional paradox may be developing a different perspective on change. Instead of just fearing the loss of what we know, we could think about it as a necessary step that allows better, more exciting opportunities to manifest in our lives.

Solar Eclipse in Cancer: Finding Security Within

With everything that’s going on in the world lately it can be hard to trust the Universe and feel Life is protecting us lately. It can be hard to believe we are safe and taken care of when everything seems to suggest otherwise. It can be hard to believe that all is always well, when we hear about what’s happening in the world right now.

Yet, we still have the opportunity to connect with an inner feeling of security independent of external events, and we can inspire the people around us to join us into that space. Once we manage to generate a feeling of safety within ourselves, we will automatically inspire others to do the same.

Together we can build communities based on caring for one another, empathically listening to one another, understanding one another. Now more than ever we need to promote nurturance, unity, and closeness, and to work towards making the world a safe place for everyone, but it all starts within.

“Be the change that you wish to see in the world.” – Mahatma Gandhi

New Moon Solar Eclipse In Capricorn – December 26, 2019

On December 26th at 12:17am EST, we will experience our last eclipse of the decade as the Moon passes between the Earth and the Sun and showers us in powerful celestial energy that is here to help propel us into an abundant 2020.

A solar eclipse occurs when the Moon, Sun, and Earth align, and a portion of the Earth becomes engulfed in the shadow of the Moon as it blocks sunlight from touching down on its surface.

A portal of completion and resurrection

This Solar Eclipse falls in conjunction with the Capricorn New Moon, creating a portal of completion and resurrection. We will be stepping into a great awakening making it easier to level up and move forward and providing us with the clarity that we need to see and learn from the world. This Solar Eclipse marks the end of a cycle that began on July 2nd and is one of the greatest eclipses we have experienced in a long time due to its deep-rooted connection to Jupiter. The effects of this are incredibly powerful and will last approximately six months instead of the usual four weeks.

This Eclipse is surrounded in growth, abundance, and good fortune and blesses us with the opportunity to make the positive changes that we need to make in order to move into 2020 with confidence and excitement. We are being asked to reflect back on all of the progress that we have made this year and this entire decade and radiate our gratitude back into the Universe. Real change has happened for us and we no longer have the time to harbor that which no longer serves our souls or humanity. With each passing day we are getting more and more in sync with the divine timing of our physical reality.

Time to spread the wings and fly high towards new exciting and magical beginnings

With this Solar Eclipse conjunct Jupiter, we will be blessed with newfound enthusiasm and happiness. Jupiter is the planet associated with growth, prosperity, and good fortune so with its conjunction to this cosmic shift, it will feel like pure magic is in the air. The Universe is providing us with the energy that we need to spread our wings, soar to new heights, and experience all that life has to offer. This is a time for expansion of self and starting something new.

We will feel a tug at our heartstrings to grow spiritually and develop a deep understanding of our soul’s true nature. Every possibility and opportunity is at your fingertips and the cosmos is aligning for you. Believe in your divine connection to everything around you, believe in the magic that radiates from your being, and watch the world unfold before you in perfect synchronicity.

The aspect of this Solar Eclipse trine Uranus further amplifies this abundant energy by heightening our sense of intuition and providing us with the flashes of insight that we have been seeking. All that you have been praying for is about to come to fruition and you are about to experience the most exciting and uplifting time of your life. This celestial aspect is incredibly powerful because it helps to unleash your true self into the world.

You’re going to surprise yourself with just how much love and prosperity you can bring to this world and everyone around you when you allow yourself to freely be just as you are. The Universe wants to help propel us into this next decade with the increased self-confidence, self-love, and sense of adventure that we need in order to realize our wildest dreams. You are about to leave your comfort zone behind and revolutionize your life. Chance encounters often lead to our greatest blessings.

Surrender. Trust. Flow..

Jupiter plays an incredibly powerful role in this Solar Eclipse New Moon. With Jupiter trine Uranus, we will get one final push from the Universe to let go of our expectations and trust in the divine path before us. If you tend to be a more conservative or shy person, this planetary aspect will help you loosen up and go with the flow. You do not have to always be in control of everything around you. Give yourself permission to just be. To just exist as a soul wanting to experience as much as possible while you inhabit this body.

Think of all that you have already accomplished. Think of all of the beauty that surrounds you and the incredible people that love and care for you deeply. Think of all of the progress you have already made towards deep self-love and self-actualization. Once you let go of how you expect your life to go and loosen your grip, you learn to trust in the power of the Universe and you begin to be led not by your mind, but by your heart and your Higher self.

Turn inwards, reflect, define yourself, lighten your soul and open yourself up to channel the abundance that this next year brings.

If you have been feeling any recent stagnation and have been experiencing anxiety, now is the perfect time for meditation and journaling as these can help provide you with a burst of newfound energy and bless you with a spiritual growth spurt and expanded awareness.

During this final Solar Eclipse and New Moon of the decade, movements, changes, and shake-ups can unfold before us quickly as we are being asked by the Universe to define ourselves, figure out what we no longer need to bring along with us on our journeys, and set our intentions for the following year and decade.

This planetary alignment is all about completing the chapter that we are in, closing this book, and beginning to write our next one. We are being asked to turn inward and reflect. What have we mastered this year? How have we grown?

With the start of 2020 upon us, we are being taught our final lessons of the year. This is the perfect time undergo significant endings, question old habits, and make a fresh start as you do what is needed to lighten your soul and open yourself up to channel the abundance that this next year brings.
