Lunar Nodes enter Taurus and Scorpio, Uranus stations Direct

On January 18, 1:56 PM ET, the Lunar Nodes entered Taurus and Scorpio. Just a few hours earlier, 10:26 AM ET, Uranus stationed direct in Taurus after being in apparent backward motion since August 19, 2021. Expect acceleration of our evolutionary pace, of the rhythm of events, and new opportunities to individuate and grow.

These are two powerful energetic shifts happening almost simultaneously. They are likely to bring important, sudden, unpredictable changes both in our individual lives and in collective, global dynamics.  The focus will go on our relationship with impermanence and the invitation will be to embrace the discomfort of change.

Understanding the Lunar Nodes

The Lunar Nodes need to be considered as an axis composed of two opposing points in space, located at the same degree of opposite signs. These points mark the intersection of the orb of the Moon with the Ecliptic, the apparent path of the Sun from our perspective on Earth. When the luminaries conjoin or oppose each other close enough to these points, Eclipses happen. For this reason, for the upcoming one and a half years, Eclipses will happen in Taurus and Scorpio.

The South Node corresponds to something we are familiar with, something we know well, ways of being that are natural to us, talents and gifts we express effortlessly. We always manifest a strong, collective emotional attachment to issues surrounding the transiting South Node. The planet ruling it, in this case Pluto, indicates habitual, often compulsive ways of operating and behaving.

The North Node is the exact opposite of that. It is something foreign, something that feels unfamiliar, something we have no experience with, something that stimulates our curiosity yet requires us to step into the unknown, so it does not feel very comfortable. The North Node and its planetary ruler, in this case Venus, illustrate the way to balance the tendencies of the South Node, which should not be completely left behind or disowned. Working with the Nodal Axis requires exploring a dynamic harmony between two polarities, one more familiar than the other.

Lunar Nodes leave the Gemini/Sagittarius axis: End of a Chapter

Something to keep in mind is that the Lunar Nodes move in retrograde motion for most of the time. This is why they are shifting from the Gemini/Sagittarius axis to the Taurus/Scorpio axis. The North Node just left Gemini, and the South Node just left Sagittarius. We completed a karmic cycle that highlighted our relationship with our beliefs, underlined the importance of finding impartial, reliable sources of information and news, and stimulated our capacity to coexist with people who think differently than us.

A Sagittarius South Node indicates a drive to identify with and have a strong emotional attachment to our truth, our beliefs, our worldviews, and our philosophies. This has been playing out through the current war of information, the diffusion of censorship, but also through phenomena such as the spread of cancel culture. All these factors have contributed to creating a deep polarization within the global population, which, in some of us, resulted in a tendency to self-censor. Many people do not feel free to express their beliefs openly anymore, as they fear being attacked, “canceled”, or excluded from a community.

The Gemini North Node has been teaching us that everything is relative, that diversity is beautiful, that our truth is valid, yet it is not the only truth. This transit has reminded us of the importance of seeing both sides of a situation, of exchanging opinions with curiosity rather than arrogance. We have been learning to coexist peacefully with people who have different worldviews and beliefs, to respect others’ opinions without necessarily agreeing with them.

South Node in Scorpio and North Node in Taurus: Embracing Simplicity

The events of the last couple of years have generated a situation of collective trauma and generalized, ongoing fear, a feeling of being in a perpetual crisis. Here is where we start from, what we are familiar with when a Scorpio South Node is in the picture. We are used to circumstances of intensity, and we carry conscious or subconscious memories of being in situations where our survival is at stake. There may be a tendency to rely on manipulative means to survive, and a drive to expose possible hidden interests or motives behind others’ actions to gain a sense of control and emotional security.

The North Node in Taurus is an invitation to ground in our physical body, root in the present moment, come back to a simple way of life, realign with the rhythms of Nature. It is an opportunity to reconnect with our personal values and with a sense of self-worth that is independent of our attachments with others. We want to feel empowered and supported by our relationships and our commitments, yet we don’t want them to define us or determine our worth.

Lunar Nodes enters Taurus

The focus for the upcoming year and a half is on cultivating a solid sense of self-value, on building intimacy with ourselves, and on establishing a personal connection with our erotic nature. Particularly, the Taurus North Node speaks about the journey of learning not to link our self-esteem, self-value, and self-love with the validation, sexual or otherwise, that we are receiving from the outside.

Nodes in Taurus/Scorpio: Accepting the Inevitability of Change

Both Taurus and Scorpio have something to do with money and resources. Taurus corresponds to our personal finances, possessions, values, and resources, while Scorpio is associated with other people’s assets, money, values, and resources. The Nodes’ journey through this axis will bring up the need to redefine the global financial system and the way we manage our resources, including the resources of the Earth. It has the potential to allow us to connect with a new sense of security, which is not based on an illusion of perpetual stability but rather on the understanding that change is inevitable and is constantly happening.

Taurus/Scorpio is also the axis of sexuality and sensuality. The Scorpio South Node reflects a tendency to gravitate towards sexual and intimate experiences that have an element of enmeshment, based on unhealthy emotional attachments and mutual dependency. Often some degree of manipulation, power struggles, and control dynamics are involved. The Taurus North Node reminds us of the importance of relating with another from a place of self-knowledge, self-respect, and self-value, rooted in the awareness of what we deserve, need, and want, in a deep connection with our body and our values.

Uranus Direct in Taurus: Turning Point

Together with the shift of the Nodal Axis, Uranus stationing direct is likely to mark a turning point in our lives. When planets are stationary, they are closer to Earth, their influence is stronger. The modern ruler of Aquarius is a potent event accelerator, which often brings unpredictable and sudden changes that force us out of our comfort zone in no time.

Uranus in Taurus has been shaking up our stability since 2018: this is another important indicator of revolutionary shifts in the financial system and of the need to change our management of natural resources. As Uranus stations direct, there may be unexpected, unpredictable climate events, issues around the supply of electricity and gas, possible shortages, and disruptions of food production and distribution.

Uranus stationing direct encourages us to act to move forward in our journey of individuation and deconditioning. Its transit through Taurus will help us break free from values and ways of living that are not authentic for us, as they represent a byproduct of our conditioning and the social expectations imposed upon us.

Lunar Nodes enters Taurus & Scorpio, Uranus stations Direct

The Nodal shift is reinforcing the prominence of the Fixed modality in the current astrological climate. Fixed signs are not the most inclined to change: they are about the preservation and consolidation of what we have created. Nonetheless, Uranus transiting Taurus is likely to disrupt the existing paradigms, test their stability, and invite us to rebuild them. By forcing us to adapt to the unexpected, this process will stimulate our versatility and generate a significant degree of innovation and social progress.

We have a chance to begin to build a new relationship with uncertainty and accept the inevitability of change: we may learn to see it as an adventure rather than only as a threat to our survival. These transits highlight the need to surrender attachments that don’t allow us to live a life aligned with our core values, even if that generates an amount of insecurity that is uncomfortable to deal with at first.

Lunar Nodes enters Taurus

Uranus will meet the Taurus North Node and oppose the Scorpio South Node between July and August 2022. Around this time, expect more radical changes in all these areas and an urge to break free from what restricts us. Uranus’ conjunction to the North Node will help us come into contact with our unique resources, talents, and skills, to gain deeper self-reliance and a better awareness of what lifestyle best suits our individuality.

New Moon Solar Eclipse: Finding Security Within – June 21

We are in the midst of Eclipse season: the intensity is palpable, tension is growing, we all feel the pressure, it’s impossible to ignore it.

We are now experiencing the second of the three Eclipses happening within a month. The Solar Eclipse in Cancer of June 21 follows the Lunar Eclipse in Sagittarius of June 5 and precedes the Lunar Eclipse in Capricorn of July 5.

On June 21 a rare Annular Solar Eclipse is taking place: it will last approximately six hours. The Moon, transiting between the Earth and the Sun, will cover the Sun completely: when their alignment becomes perfect, only a ring of fire will be visible from our perspective.

People living in parts of Asia and Africa will be lucky enough to be able to observe this cosmic phenomenon, which should never be watched with the naked eye.

The Timeless Power of Eclipses

Eclipses are gateways of change: ancient peoples considered them strong omens, they equally feared and revered them. They believed that, during Eclipse season, portals to other dimensions open: the veil between worlds becomes thinner, traveling to other planes becomes easier, transformation can be fast and radical.

Eclipses have been associated with several historical events impossible to forget. In this period of the year, we can easily feel like everything happens too quickly to grasp its meaning immediately. The energy can be overwhelming if we don’t know how to ground it.

We need more time than usual to integrate and digest what’s going on, and this may generate the sensation that we have no control over events: remember all is temporary, everything will pass. This is not the best time to make fixed plans: better to live the day and adapt to what happens.

When Eclipse season will be over, we are going to have time to think about what we have been through, what has shifted. During these weeks, when the energy is stronger, it is crucial to give ourselves extra time to relax. Taking care of our feelings and emotions becomes key as we enter the realms of the watery Cancer.

Solar Eclipse on the Solstice Point: a Collective Initiation

Sun and Moon transit over the North Node at 29° Gemini and immediately enter Cancer. The Eclipse happens exactly on the Solstice Point: this makes it even more relevant for us.

0° Cancer is a special degree in the Zodiac, as it marks the beginning of Summer (in the Northern hemisphere) or Winter (in the Southern hemisphere). For this reason, it represents a collective rite of passage, a moment of evolution for humanity as a whole.

It is said that what happens during the day of the Solstice dictates the energy of the following three months. The effects of an Eclipse, on the other hand, are believed to last up to six months.

This cosmic event is so significant that it could set the tone for the rest of the year. If we use its energy wisely, it can offer us amazing opportunities for growth.

Solar Eclipse on the North Node: Discovering Our Evolutionary Path

The Eclipse is happening on the North Node of the Moon, at 29° Gemini. This point in space symbolizes the direction we are encouraged to go towards in order to evolve, both individually and as a species. The Lunar Nodes change sign only every year and a half, and this is the very first Eclipse on the North Node since it shifted from Cancer to Gemini.

Once a year, when the Sun crosses the North Node, it reminds us not to waste our potential. The Moon transits there once a month, showing us that diving deep and fearlessly into our emotional depths is necessary for growth.

new moon solar eclipse

As soon as the Sun and the Moon pass over the North Node, they form a conjunction in the Cancerian waters. The Moon then obscures the Sun for a few hours, bringing our attention to the importance of living emotions with conscious awareness.

Mercury, the planetary ruler of the North Node in Gemini, has shifted retrograde in the sign of Cancer on June 18th. Its influence reminds us of the power of compassionate communication. Mercury will support us in processing and integrating the emotions coming up during the following days, inviting us to be kind to ourselves and each other.

An Unexpected Change of Direction

A Solar Eclipse is a supercharged New Moon: it represents a brand new beginning, a huge turning point for humanity as a whole, and each of us as an individual.

After embarking on a quest for knowledge throughout Gemini season, we are now asked to slow down and connect to our inner wisdom. We are encouraged to find what we seek within ourselves and shut down all external noises.

These days are very emotionally charged: the planets in Cancer remind us to go within and give space to our feelings.

This is the best moment of the year you can take advantage of if you want to radically transform your reality. Many people, during the time spent at home, realized they are not happy with the life they are living, but they are not sure about how to change it.

You can use this energy to manifest whatever you dream of: set a clear intention for the future and start actively working towards it, one step at a time. To help you fully harness this extremely powerful energy we have created a channeled Guided New Moon Solar Eclipse Meditation Audio & Super Deep & Powerful Self-Reflection Journal (we call it: Reclaiming The Feminine Wisdom). Tap here or on the image below to gain access to New Moon Solar Eclipse Ritual Tools.

One essential part of the process of conscious manifestation, often forgotten, is the importance of feeling the sensations that reaching your goals would provoke. This New Moon Solar Eclipse in Cancer reminds us to align thoughts, desires, and emotions towards the direction we want to take.

An Emotional Paradox

There is an inherent paradox in the Cancer archetype: on the one hand, being a Cardinal sign, its function is beginning a new process, initiating something that has never been done before. On the other hand, the natural tendency of Cancer is seeking security, comfort and familiarity.

Many of us have been experiencing a contrast between two opposite desires. We have the possibility to stay in our comfort zone. Even if the conditions are not ideal, this choice provides us the feeling of safety and security we naturally long for.

On the contrary, we know that doing something completely different may make us happier, but there is no guarantee to achieve the result we expect. This choice may also imply the risk of losing what we currently have, hence causing some sort of insecurity.

The hesitation to let go of what makes us feel safe is something many of us face when we try to manifest a different life. Holding on to what provides security prevents us from creating the space necessary for something new to emerge.

It is not easy at all: we all have conscious and unconscious emotional attachments to our current situation, whether we like it or not. Knowing what to expect makes us feel safe, which is a basic human need: this is why the period of uncertainty we are living can be so hard to deal with.

The medicine to overcome this emotional paradox may be developing a different perspective on change. Instead of just fearing the loss of what we know, we could think about it as a necessary step that allows better, more exciting opportunities to manifest in our lives.

Solar Eclipse in Cancer: Finding Security Within

With everything that’s going on in the world lately it can be hard to trust the Universe and feel Life is protecting us lately. It can be hard to believe we are safe and taken care of when everything seems to suggest otherwise. It can be hard to believe that all is always well, when we hear about what’s happening in the world right now.

Yet, we still have the opportunity to connect with an inner feeling of security independent of external events, and we can inspire the people around us to join us into that space. Once we manage to generate a feeling of safety within ourselves, we will automatically inspire others to do the same.

Together we can build communities based on caring for one another, empathically listening to one another, understanding one another. Now more than ever we need to promote nurturance, unity, and closeness, and to work towards making the world a safe place for everyone, but it all starts within.

“Be the change that you wish to see in the world.” – Mahatma Gandhi

North Node in Gemini & South Node in Sagittarius

North Node in Gemini & South Node in Sagittarius – May 5th 1:48am EST through January 2022.

The nodes of the Moon are shifting from Capricorn and Cancer into Gemini and Sagittarius on May 5th 2020. This is a significant shift that will shake up the energetic climate of planet Earth.

Let’s explore the significance of the North and South Node, their new home of Gemini/Sagittarius, Eclipses and times in history when we have experienced these themes.

Understanding the Nodes

The Nodes of the Moon are not literal celestial bodies, but instead they are points of intersection. They are where the Sun and Moon’s orbits align. The north and south node are always opposite each other, just like the directions on a compass. These nodes shift signs approximately every 18-20 months.

The nodes dictate where Eclipses occur in the Zodiac. Since they are points where the Sun and Moon’s orbits align, when we have a New Moon or Full Moon near the nodes, we experience an Eclipse. Think about these points of alignment as high speed trains that quickly deliver us to a destination. They get straight to it and their energy can be somewhat intense.

north node in gemini

We are moving away from the nodes’ transit of Capricorn/Cancer. That cycle began in November 2018. As we embark on a new level of learning it’s key to take a moment to look back. What have we learned since November 2018? Where have we shifted? Where has the Universe gotten straight to the point?

Moving forward, we can take this wisdom and integrate it into these new cycles. Beginning in June we will start to experience Eclipses and until then we are getting our bearings and the lay of this new land.

Freedom, Communication, Information and Ideas

The North Node represents True North. It’s the direction we are collectively heading, or the chapter humanity is studying. We will be learning the themes of Gemini until January 2022.

These themes include freedom, communication, information and ideas. Gemini is an air sign that often dwells in the logical realms. It’s what we think, how we speak to ourselves and what we say to others. It’s the free thinker or free spirit.

North Node in Gemini: Flying Freely

Let’s use the analogy of dandelions to convey this energy. This plant spreads their seeds by letting the wind take them. They fly all over and end up bountifully growing on every lawn in the neighbourhood. Their growth is contagious, if it’s free to fly.

Everyone has a different opinion on dandelions, and Gemini knows what it likes and what it does not. Some people are going to pull out the weeds, others are going to add them to their salads.

 Information is Key

This translates to information. As we embark on this transit information is going to be spreading like dandelions. The wind will plant new ideas or inspirations for some. Others might try to pull out or stop these new concepts from growing.

There will always be the people who attempt to control where the seeds can fly. However, any one who tries to pull out all the weeds knows this is impossible.

Humanity is learning the power of information. The Universe is spreading seeds everywhere, and there are certain groups who are going to try and stop these seeds from growing.

North Node in Gemini: Making Up Our Own Minds

The beauty is that we all have our own gardens. We can let whatever we want grow in them. We get to make up our minds about where we receive information and what ideas we integrate into our lives.

Maybe we grew up with a parent who hated weeds in their garden so we were always pulling them out. Maybe we meet a friend who loves those same weeds. This transit is about changing our minds and expanding our attitudes.

We have the chance to do things differently. This might mean we look to new places for our information. This might mean we start to spread and share the innate wisdom within us. Ideas and attitudes can spread through communication. When communication is limited or censored, there is only so much room for innovation.

North Node in Gemini: Doing our Homework

This transit is here to clear out space within our minds in order for new solutions to come into play. However, nothing worth creating is easy. The North Node in Gemini is our homework and that requires a commitment on our part.

The Universe isn’t going to hand us the clarity we seek. We have to commit to fighting for it. This transit is showing us where we are free to fly like the dandelion seeds, and where we are not free. As we reach for the free spirited energy of Gemini, our limitations are going to become evident.

North Node in Gemini: Information Illuminates

Communication and information is what illuminates our planet. Anyone or anything who tries to limit that is creating ignorance on the Planet. Our parents could really trigger us, but if we silence them and refuse to listen we’ll be silenced in return. Our growth is stunted when we shut each other out.

This does not mean we have to believe everything we hear, but it does mean being willing to listen. It also means speaking up when we have something to say.

Above all else this is about fighting for the freedom to communicate. We do this by becoming aware of the limitations and asking questions instead of complying.

North Node in Gemini: Getting Curious

Gemini energy is inquisitive and curious. It wants to think about all the scenarios and possibilities. As the North Node transits Gemini we are learning to embrace this approach. We don’t have to take everything at face value. We don’t have to believe all the facts or figures. But what we have to do is ask questions. As we ask questions, we create space for the truth to surface.

If we sit back and take everything as it’s delivered, the truth might remain hidden. Instead, we can transform by thinking outside the box and asking questions. This curiosity will lead us to more information, and in turn more illumination.

South Node in Sagittarius: Trusting Our Wisdom

The South Node represents where we’ve been. It’s the direction we are coming from or the chapter we have just read. It’s the song we have memorized and will always remember. The South Node is our innate wisdom. We don’t have to think about it, we just know it.

During this time the South Node is transiting Sagittarius, which is an open hearted, free spirit and big picture energy. The Universe exists in each atom. We are learning to trust our innate wisdom. To look within ourselves for the truth. We can cultivate that sense of hope when we trust what we know. The bigger picture is on our sides. By trusting ourselves we can question when things feel off in the world.

North Node in Gemini: Mind Full or Mindful?

If our desktop is packed with icons we might feel cluttered and confused. During this transit we can imagine our minds are computers. Is our inner screen full and cluttered? Can we make space within our minds, attitudes and intellect? This is not something that will happen overnight; patience and perseverance are key.

North Node in Gemini: Seeing the Path

When our minds are clear we are able to see the path in front of us. If we are scattered and stressed our limbic system will kick in and we can feel confused. There are so many reasons to feel afraid. There are so many unknowns. There is so much confusion.

Finding that place of knowing within us is the first step to finding our paths. If we look outside of ourselves for answers, we will be bombarded with information and misinformation.

North Node in Gemini + History

The last time we experienced this energy was October 14 2001 through April 14 2003. This was a time when everything was changing. After the extreme chaos of September 2001 many were left confused and in fear about the future. Perhaps, we are feeling the same way after an intense spring of 2020.

Back then, certain stories and information conveyed as facts limited our perceptions. We were told to believe official narratives and because we did not have the same access to the internet as we do today, the option to open our minds might have not been there. We might have had questions but felt full of fear, so we could not ask them. Maybe we were young back then and did not feel we could question the stories of authorities.

north node in gemini

Gemini is an air sign. Sagittarius is associated with travel and exploring new horizons. It’s interesting to note that back in 2001-2003, the last time we saw this transit, how we travelled and air travel specifically shifted. Once again, we are seeing changes in how and where we can travel.

The nodes in Gemini and Sagittarius are once again occurring during a time where planet Earth has had a plot twist. Something has happened that not many saw coming. We’ve all experienced a collective shock.

North Node in Gemini: Seeking out Information

This time is different because now we get to make up our minds about what is happening. We are each entitled to our opinions. We can search and seek out information. However, we can’t sit back and expect the truth to be miraculously delivered. We have to be willing to work hard to foster a connection to our inner knowing, and then go out into the world with curiosity.

We have to be courageous and ask questions. We can’t let someone else tell us what is or what isn’t. We don’t have to believe everyone, but we will benefit from being open to listening to others. Part of making up our minds is listening to the options and then choosing which ones feel right for us.

This transit is teaching us the power of freedom. We see that power playing out as a dandelion that spreads its seeds in the wind. We are learning that freedom is not something to take for granted. We are learning true freedom starts within. It begins by believing in ourselves and committing to enquiring about the world around us. As we think critically and trust our innate knowings, we transform the world.

We are very thankful that you read this article and we would be super grateful if you can share with others. During these times of uncertainty we all have to question everything and don’t just blindly believe big media. This transit is about information and freedom. Meaning the force is with us, and we have a chance to change the course of humanity. Open your heart. Embrace unconditional love. We are the people. We are one. One love!

North Node Enters Gemini

north node enters gemini

May 5th 1:48am EST through January 2022.

The North Node signifies what we are collectively learning and yearning to understand. This is a significant shift which occurs approximately every 18-20 months. The nodes of the Moon dictate where we experience Eclipses. Since November 2018 the North Node has been in Cancer. This is a time to reflect on what we have learned since November 2018 as we now embark on a new assignment.

The last time the North Node was in Gemini was October 14 2001 through April 14 2003. Those years shaped our collective beliefs, attitudes and outlook of the world. These themes are now up for renewal. We are invited to change our minds.

Supermoon in Scorpio

Every year, May’s Full Moon packs a punch; because it falls in the intense sign of Scorpio. This Supermoon is a time to look behind the veil and experience the palpable pulse of the Universe. Like our hearts beating within our chests, we have to still ourselves to feel it. Scorpio Supermoon energy is extreme and may have our hearts racing. This is the final of a series of Supermoons in 2020 and is sure to leave it’s mark. This Supermoon is all about trusting our intuitions and committing to our multidimensionality.

Saturn Retrograde

saturn retrograde

May 11 12:09am EST until September 29 2020

Retrogrades are not something to fear or dread, but they are a change in direction worth knowing about. Saturn’s annual retrograde invites us on a journey within ourselves. The responsibility shifts from serving the external world to listening to what’s unfolding inside of us. Instead of taking orders, we are now asked to be our own leader. It’s significant to note that on this day Mercury will be entering Gemini. This adds a layer of freedom and fresh air to the mix.

Venus Retrograde

venus retrograde

May 13th 2020 2:45am EST through June 25 2020

Venus retrograde is a time when planet Earth is invited to look at every facet of it’s relationships. This includes love, romance, family, friends and our relationships to ourselves. Venus retrogrades approximately every 18 months and is worth having on our radar.

She’ll be transiting the free spirited energy of Gemini. Gemini energy wants to be able to make up its own minds and we are being asked to think differently. Thinking differently about ourselves, others and the collective will allow us to level up.

The Universe is giving us a key and setting us free from the cages of comfort we have built for ourselves. We are learning change is not only needed, but with the right attitude we can feel safe and steady through the shifts.

Also on this day, Mars will enter Pisces; giving us an invitation to soften our masculine sides and soothe our souls.

To get a feel for the vibe of Venus in Gemini read our recent blog, Venus in Gemini: The Heart is the Place to Start (

Jupiter Retrograde

jupiter retrograde

May 14 10:32am EST

Jupiter has been busy shifting the systems of humanity as it transits the sign of Capricorn. So much has changed since Jupiter entered Capricorn in November 2019. As he stations retrograde we are given a chance to reflect and integrate these external shifts into our internal worlds.

Sun Trines Pluto, Jupiter & Saturn

sun trines pluto jupiter saturn

May 15-22

In January 2020 and April 2020 we experienced some revolutionary transits involving Pluto, Jupiter and Saturn coming together in Capricorn. Read more here (

As the Sun moves through the Earth sign of Taurus, these energy shifts are going to start to solidify and take form. It’s as if a new foundation of cement has been poured for humanity and as the Sun connects with Pluto, Jupiter and Saturn throughout the week of May 15th, we begin to see that cement harden. This will bring a welcomed sense of stability for some or a desire to tear out the cement and re-pour it.

Gemini Season

Gemini season

May 20 9:49am EST

As the Sun shifts into Gemini, where it will remain for 30 days, we are given a dose of fun, flight and freedom. Gemini is an air sign and like a fairy it wants to fly around. It wants to feel free to let the wind take it. This is a time where that freedom and adventure may come in the form of ideas and aspirations. Communication is a big theme here. There’s a power in laughing, smiling and having some fun. Even if there is chaos around. Gemini season doesn’t want us to be so serious. Instead a childlike attitude is key. With the North node recently shifting into Gemini, along with Venus retrograde in this sign, this Gemini season will be a legendary one.

New Moon in Gemini

New Moon in Gemini moon omens

May 22 1:39am EST

The New Moon in Gemini is a time to get our stories straight. We all tell ourselves all kinds of stories. This is a time to take an honest look at the narratives that cycle through our minds and ask ourselves if they are really what we want. Opening our minds to a new story takes time and this is not something that needs to be forced. Instead, we will find a freshness from letting go of what feels fearful, flat or simply boring. Swapping them for a tale which comes from our hearts.

During this New Moon Venus retrograde will be connecting to Mercury. Venus retrograde is sorting through old relationship dynamics. Mercury represents our minds. This New Moon may give us flashes of inspiration and our minds may finally understand outdated dynamics.

Mercury Conjunct North Node

mercury conjunct true node

May 28 8:19pm EST

Mercury is the planet of communication, logic and intellect. It’s our minds and how they are hardwired. Often, Mercury’s energy plays out as clarity or conversely confusion. The North Node represents our collective direction. It’s the chapter we are studying, and the direction we are heading.

As Mercury conjuncts the recently shifted North Node in Gemini, we are given a chance to understand where we want to turn next. There’s an opportunity to wrap our minds around the directions we are travelling and if we want to stay the course, or make a change. We could feel confused about how it’s all going to come together, but in time the details will come together. This is a time to check in with ourselves and do an honest assessment of which track our trains are on, and if they will get us to the destinations of our hearts.

Venus will be transiting the sign of Gemini from April 3rd until August 6th. This is an extended transit due to Venus’s upcoming Retrograde in Gemini.

Venus in Gemini is inviting us to get up close and personal with our relationships. Although we may experience this in the form of our physical relationship, so much of this transit has to do with our relationships to the frequencies around and within us.

Gemini is an air energy and we can imagine it exists in the ethers. In our modern world we know that the air carries more than oxygen. There’s wifi signals, bluetooth waves, sounds, even our words carry an energy through the ethers.

Although it can be easy to forget about these unseen forces, or even choose to ignore them, the name of the game as Venus moves into Gemini is to cultivate a relationship with them. Venus is the planet of relationships and in her domain there is always an exchange.

Venus in Gemini: Relationship to the Ethers

Imagine if we were in a relationship with someone but pretended we weren’t? Imagine we have committed to getting married but then chose to act as if that commitment didn’t exist? Of course anything and everything happens on Earth so this might not be too hard to imagine. The point is that we have chosen, by incarnating on the planet at this time, to be in relation to the air.

We are seeing this throughout COVID 19. We are seeing how a virus can travel unseen throughout the world. We are seeing how the words or ideas of people impact everyone. We are learning first hand the power of the ethers.

Now that we can witness it, now that we recognize we are in relationship to it, we can cultivate and work on it. Now we know better and so we must do better.

Not only is this energy playing out around us, but we are also filled with frequencies within. Our heart has an electromagnetic field. Our intuition can sense when things are off. We have dreams that can feel ridiculously real.

Venus in Gemini: Our Relationship to Frequency

When we begin to create a relationship to the frequencies within and around us we can start to understand freedom on a new level. As we begin to understand ourselves as energetic beings; we begin to experience 5D.

Gemini energy is associated with information. When we receive new information it changes how we relate to life. When we receive new information about ourselves our perspectives change. When we receive fear based information we respond to that, as well. When we receive loving feedback we feel it in our hearts.

Venus in Gemini is showing us what we’ve already been doing all along; transmitting and translating frequencies.

Venus in Gemini: Internal and External Impacts

We are asked to see ourselves as antennas that can pick up all sorts of unseen signals. As we begin to reshape and rethink who we are in relation to all the energy around us we can begin to discern. During these evolutionary times all sorts of new waves, signals and information is coming to our planet.

Some of these new waves will carry light and information; the frequencies coming from within are gateways to new experiences of life. 5D is an internal, loving force, that opens paradigms within.

self love

5G is an external force that can impact our energy. With Venus in Gemini we begin to become aware and prioritize our relationship to frequencies. By doing so, our choices and decisions will change. We will feel the effects of external waves and will become clear on what we want in our air and what we do not.

Venus in Gemini Retrograde Around the Corner

This can feel like a lot and it’s going to be overwhelming at times. The good news is we have plenty of space to get to know ourselves because Venus will be retrograding from May 13, 2020, to June 25, 2020.

Venus retrogrades give us space to revamp and rethink. It gives us space to better understand our relationship to ourselves and witness how their energy will impact how we relate to others. There is no rush, we have plenty of time to embark on this journey.

Both the energy of Venus and Gemini enjoy fun and lightheartedness. It doesn’t all have to be serious or logical. Perhaps we take a day to walk outside and see how the trees leave us feeling. Perhaps we notice a shift in our energy when we take a break from our phones. There is no right or wrong way to do this; think of it instead as an adventure.

This adventure isn’t one we have to take alone. Venus loves company and we are invited to connect with others along this journey. In a way we can imagine that the entire Planet is together in this.

Venus in Gemini is Joined by the North Node in May

We have the North Node entering Gemini on May 5th where it will remain for 1.5 years. The nodes dictate where we experience Eclipses. Eclipses are areas we collectively experience, they are a place where energy lines up and it often gets straight to the point.

From May 2020 until November 2021 Gemini energy is the collective homework. Remembering that Gemini symbolizes information, ideas, communication, frequency and anything that’s in the air.

North Node in Gemini and Recent History

The last time we saw this transit of the Nodes was at the end of 2001. We can think back to that time and recall the confusion and changes. There was mass amounts of information and stories coming from the media. Earth had experienced a coming tragedy and consequently a coming together after 9/11.

This time around we are emerging from a global experience of what’s being called “COVID 19”. We are coming into a time where we need to make sense of information and decide what we believe. Unlike 2001, 2020 is a year of massive power coming to the people. We have the ability to discern information. We have the chance to listen  and to choose our frequencies. We are on the brink of massive opportunity.

Venus in Gemini: The Heart is the Eye of the Storm

Venus retrograde from May 13, 2020, to June 25, 2020 is urging us not to get too tied up with the windy climate around us. Instead she’s asking us to each get up close and personal with our hearts. The heart is the place to start.

freedom is within moon omens

This cycle will take time, and there is no rush or urgency. As we focus on ourselves and reclaim our frequency; we will see a shift. This shift will ripple out into our personal relationships, our day to day lives and every corner of the collective consciousness.

Uranus Sextile True Node March 19th

Uranus Sextile True Node March 19th 9:43pm UT

When it comes to interpreting the energies of the celestial bodies and the Universe through an astrological lens, it’s important to understand that nothing is happening independently of something else. In some way, shape or form there is an interconnection.

On Earth, this shows up as a random act of kindness making a ripple effect into the world. Or perhaps it can look like someone causing harm by choosing to remain silent.

When it comes to the cycles of the cosmos this interconnection shows up through the aspects. Aspects are a way of understanding how planets are aligning and creating angles to each other. This conversation can get technical, because mathematics is a huge part of our Universe.

A Symphony Orchestra of Energy

We can think of the Universe as a symphony orchestra of energy playing together. The same way we have many instruments in a band, each Planet is bringing something unique to the song that is life. Today let’s look at an upcoming transit that’s sure to create some waves.

On March 19 the Planet Uranus sextiles the True Node

To understand what this all means we first have to break down the components. Once we understand this individual significance we’ll piece it back together and get a view of the larger picture.

Uranus Shakes it Up

Uranus is the planet of revolution. It’s radical change. It’s the mover and the shaker. It’s not here to fit in, be quiet or obey the status quo. It’s actually the exact opposite. It’s wanting to do things differently, rebel and change the world. We can think of Uranus’s energy as electricity. Electricity can be a good thing, it is a huge part of our lives and we don’t fear turning on the lights when the Sun sets. However, there is a volatile side to this energy which is important to be aware of.

First, let’s ask ourselves if we know where the power that lights our nights comes from? Are we aware of what we are using? Are we aware of the impact it could be making on our environment? This is not to say that we all have to go off the grid and give up our electronic lives. The point is simply to become aware so we are taking action and consuming from a place of understanding. Uranus energy comes in like a force. We see the light and we are blinded. It can be hard to take a step back and adjust our focus, but doing so can curb some of the volatility.

Secondly, we know electricity can shock us. This energy is shocking. If we put our finger in a broken socket we will feel the effects. Uranus energy must be free to flood through that open outlet. If we are not open to change, which includes seeing things in a different way, then we may have our stubbornness shocked. We have to be willing to adapt and change course.

Uranus in Taurus

Uranus is transiting Taurus from 2018 to 2026 and this is shaking up life on Earth to say the least. Taurus is associated with our physical realm, it’s the surface and our human experience. It’s our connection to the Earth and her resources. Taurus is connected with what we receive, consume and acquire.

During these years we are facing volatility and upheaval in regards to our connection with Earth. We are being asked to take a look at our lifestyle, consumption, habits and nearly every facet of our human lives. In many ways Uranus is here to lift the veil and show us what is no longer sustainable or acceptable.

Owning, acquiring and consuming are a huge part of being human; but they are not the only things. This energy is asking us to transform our priorities from solely our physical desires, and instead appreciate the simple things life has to offer. Instead of watching TV could we enjoy a moment of stillness with ourselves? Instead of buying something new do we own something we can reuse? Instead of throwing something away can we repurpose it?

Uranus Asks us to Be Open to Change. This energy is asking us to adapt and change, which is not always easy for humans. But there is hope that can come from thinking differently and learning new ways of being.

This is where we can talk about the True Node, which is also known as the North Node. This is not a physical body in the sky, but instead a point. It is the point where the Sun and Moon’s orbit intersect. It’s a spot of alignment where energy lines up.

Our True North

The True/North node is associated with the direction we are collectively heading. It’s the chapter we’re studying. It’s the lessons we are learning. Right now this energy is in Capricorn. This transit began in November 2018 and ends in May 2020.

True Node in Capricorn

Capricorn energy is associated with responsibility, authority and control. It’s the boss and who we believe we must obey. It’s the rules and regulations. During these times we have many planets transiting Capricorn and in a sense we are collectively rewriting our inner constitutions. A major theme is self responsibility. These are times of taking control of our lives, while still being open to the Universe’s flow.

We are learning to move away from the rigid expectations others or society have put onto us. We are learning that it’s okay to want to go in an alternative direction or do something untraditional. We are learning to give ourselves permission to be who we are.

Sextiles Create Harmony

These two cycles are joining together through the aspect of a sextile. A sextile occurs when a 60 degree angle is formed. Symbolically this is a positive aspect that provides harmony and growth. What this means is that Uranus in Taurus and the True Node in Capricorn are working together.

There are some surprise left turns in the forecast but we may discover these are the best detours ever. It’s that feeling when you have no idea where you are but feel a sense of adventure. This is about being open to a change of direction and not knowing where we are headed. To get to this point we need to be okay releasing control.

There is a force moving through us. This force is opening us up to the Universe and all sorts of experiences. But, if we think we are the only ones steering the ship, we may feel uncomfortable or stressed out. Not being open to change is what will leave us unsettled.

Becoming Aware of Our Impact

We don’t have to know all the answers but we do have to be aware of the implications of our actions. We need to take a look at the choices we are individually making and assess their impact. It’s overwhelming at times to see the ways we are living unsustainably. We might be seeing all sorts of leaks we want to patch up and fix. The point here is to notice what we want to change and then be open to creative solutions.

Living With Earth

This has everything to do with how we are living on Earth. Better yet, this has to do with how we are living WITH Earth. We are being asked to shift from a belief system that sees nature as something to own or claim and instead see her as our partner.

We might not know how to make the big changes needed to ensure our partner, Planet Earth, is respected but we can take responsibility for ourselves. What changes can we make in our lives? What can we use less of? Can we offer our energy towards serving the Planet instead of focusing on how we can be served?

Uranus and the True Node are Inviting us to Change

For some these may feel like heavy times. Others may feel roaring and ready to go. We are all individuals and it’s crucial to stay in our own lanes. Instead of pointing the finger in blame, may we look in the mirror and get clear on where we no longer want to stay the same.
