New Moon Total Solar Eclipse in Sagittarius: Breaking Point

On December 4, 02:34 AM ET, we experience a Total Solar Eclipse at 12°16’ Sagittarius. This cosmic event will be visible from Antarctica and, in part, from some Southern regions of the Southern hemisphere of the globe. While Lunar Eclipses can be watched safely, Solar Eclipses should never be watched with the naked eye.

This New Moon Total Solar Eclipse is a breaking point that culminates a cycle of 18 months during which we experienced Eclipses on the Gemini-Sagittarius axis: the Lunar Nodes are entering Taurus and Scorpio in January, beginning a new karmic cycle. For the upcoming year and a half, Eclipses will happen in Taurus and Scorpio: this is the last one in Sagittarius until 2029.

To celebrate the arrival of New Moon Total Solar Eclipse in Sagittarius, on December 4, 9:45 PM ET, we are hosting Global Live New Moon Total Solar Eclipse Meditation on our YouTube channel. Solar Eclipse on the South Node: a Beginning with Flavor of an Ending

A New Moon takes place when the Moon joins the Sun on the same degree of the same Zodiac sign. These events mark the beginning of the lunar cycle: they are a moment to set intentions, plant seeds, start anew, and envision our future. Solar Eclipses are very intense New Moons that take place when the luminaries align close to the North or the South Node of the Moon: they mark potent turning points in our lives and in collective history, and they often correspond with life-changing events.

The current Eclipse is happening on the South Node: this point in space represents something we know well, something we master, something we are familiar with, talents and gifts we naturally express, qualities we easily connect with. It relates to our past, our karmic history, and our emotional attachments. When a New Moon Solar Eclipse takes place on the lunar South Node, it can be considered a new beginning with the flavor of an ending that requires a lot of letting go. As there won’t be another Eclipse in Sagittarius for the next eight years, this is, even more, the case.

Total Solar Eclipse in Sagittarius

Sun and Moon aligning on the South Node bring up unfinished business, unresolved issues, deeply buried emotions, something we need to integrate, release, or detach from. The current Total Solar Eclipse sets in motion a process of purification and purging: as it is happening in the sign of Sagittarius, this is likely to highlight the need to let go of beliefs, attachment to ideologies, philosophies, and ways of making sense of the world that we no longer feel aligned with.

Total Solar Eclipse in Sagittarius: Dissolution of Beliefs

Eclipses represent a time of high volatility, fast change, and unpredictability, where time feels different than usual and out-of-the-ordinary experiences become the norm. Solar Eclipses happen when the Moon is placed between the Earth and the Sun in such a way that prevents sunlight from reaching us. Because sunlight is what makes life on Earth possible, these events have been equally feared and respected for a long time.

When the Sun is being eclipsed, it may be hard to connect with our inner light, with our joy, with our creativity, with our sense of purpose. A Total Solar Eclipse in Sagittarius may correspond with a feeling of loss of meaning, a dissolution of beliefs, a sense of not knowing what our truth is anymore: during these days, connecting with feelings of hope and faith may be more challenging than usual. Nonetheless, this event sets in motion a process of rebirth, that will unfold throughout the upcoming six months.

Solar Eclipse conjunct Mercury & square Neptune

The Sun and the Moon are in tight conjunction with Mercury, the ruler of the Gemini North Node. Their aspect highlights the urge to expand our perception of reality and our intellectual understanding of it, as well as a desire to share what we are learning with others. Dogmatism, arrogance, self-righteousness, and a need to convert others to our viewpoint in order to feel safe can represent shadow expressions linked with this configuration, which highlights the importance to honor our personal truth and allow everyone else to do the same.

On another note, Sun, Moon, and Mercury are all square Neptune in Pisces. This alignment can reflect some confusion and uncertainty relative to our identity, to what we think, believe, and feel. Our sensitivity to others’ emotions, thoughts, and experiences will increase: our boundaries may be blurred or hard to keep, as we struggle to distinguish between what’s ours and what’s not. Positively, this configuration increases our fantasy, imagination, and creativity. It strengthens our connection with our intuition and inspires us to embrace a spiritual perspective of life that doesn’t require a rational or logical understanding of circumstances.

Solar Eclipse quincunx Uranus & trine Chiron

The Sun and the Moon in Sagittarius are forming a quincunx, an alignment of crisis and paradox, to Uranus in Taurus. This aspect is increasing the unpredictability already present on this Eclipse: the activation of Uranus always brings up a desire to fight for our right to be ourselves, for our freedom, and our sovereignty

Total Solar Eclipse in Sagittarius

On a collective level, the possibilities of disruptions, protests, and social unrest are very high, as our desire to break free from limitations and implement innovation and progress increases. On the personal level, there are chances of feeling emotionally alienated and disconnected from our environment and the people around us: we may find it hard to reconcile different needs, emotions, desires, and drives.

On a different note, the trine between Sun, Moon, Mercury, and Chiron in Aries suggests ease of psychological and intellectual understanding of our emotional reactions. These aspects facilitate a better awareness of what’s behind our triggers. Yet, with trines, chances and information are often unnoticed: as always, it is up to us to make the choices and the effort required to generate tangible change.

Jupiter square the Lunar Nodes & Jupiter square Mars

Jupiter, the planetary ruler of Sagittarius, is currently traveling through the last degrees of Aquarius, forming a square aspect to Mars in Scorpio and to the Lunar Nodes on the first degree of Gemini and Sagittarius. When planets square the Nodes, they point to karmic dynamics that need to be solved for our evolution to take place. As the ruler of the South Node of the Moon, Jupiter has been an important player for the last year and a half: the South Node ruler indicates our habitual way of operating in order to meet our emotional and security needs, and offers us keys to understanding patterns and attachments we bring with us from our past.

Jupiter’s transit through Aquarius has been bringing our focus on our relationship with the collective, with technology, and with social movements, highlighting the sense of alienation that often arises as a result of our deconditioning process. Jupiter enters Pisces on December 28 and will continue to square the Lunar Nodes for the upcoming weeks, emphasizing issues of authenticity, transparency, and integrity, reminding us of the importance of acting in alignment with our beliefs and values

The simultaneous square between Jupiter in Aquarius and Mars in Scorpio suggests the possibility of taking impulsive actions and a strong desire to fight to defend our freedom, our rights, our beliefs, and our ideals. Excessively destructive reactions and taking action without pondering the consequences of our choices are risks associated with this aspect.

Total Solar Eclipse in Sagittarius: Living Authentically

While the Eclipse is taking place, Venus is approaching a conjunction to Pluto in Capricorn and is in her pre-shadow phase. Venus will station retrograde on December 19, just a few hours after the Full Moon in Gemini, the lunation that culminates the cycle starting now. The symbolism of Venus will be very active during the upcoming weeks, and it will be colored by Plutonian themes of death, rebirth, and transformation. Their alignment intensifies our feelings and anticipates big changes in our relationships, in our value system, and our finances.

This Total Solar Eclipse can correspond to a sense of crises in faith and a feeling of not knowing what we believe in, not knowing how to make sense of what we are going through, of the circumstances we are facing. This is a time when we are called to detach from old beliefs and from our attachment to a certain worldview or version of the truth.

As we keep letting go of the past, we can get to a place where we feel we don’t know anything, and we can’t hold onto anything anymore: this can feel scary and disorienting. Nonetheless, welcoming the feeling of being lost and inhabiting the state of not knowing can represent an opportunity to create space for something buried within ourselves to emerge, unfold, and begin to shape a new path.

New Moon Solar Eclipse in Gemini: Thoughts Create Reality

On June 10, 06:52 AM ET, we experience a New Moon Annular Solar Eclipse at 19°42’ of Gemini. Eclipses have long-term effects, they are portals of sudden change, and often mark new beginnings and sudden endings. These powerful alignments catalyze fast and unexpected events that can correlate with pivotal turning points, both in our personal lives and in the history of humanity.

This is the second Eclipse of the current Eclipse season, and the last one happening in the sign of the Twins until 2029. The Solar Eclipse in Gemini follows a Total Lunar Eclipse in Sagittarius, begins a new lunar month and a larger six-month cycle of growth, culminating with a Full Moon in Gemini on December 18, 2021.

The Solar Eclipse in Gemini reminds us that our thoughts create our reality. This cosmic event is inviting us not to get too attached to our beliefs and habitual thinking patterns, encouraging us to explore new ways of perceiving our experiences.

To celebrate the arrival of this New Moon Solar Eclipse in Gemini, on June 10 at 9:45 PM ET, we are hosting Global Live New Moon Solar Eclipse in Gemini Meditation on our YouTube channel. We invite you to join us, and invite others to meditate together with us. Tap here to find our scheduled live meditation.

The Transformative Effects of Solar Eclipses

A Solar Eclipse is a more intense and transformative New Moon. Like any other New Moon, it inaugurates a new cycle of development and represents a moment to set intentions for the time ahead. The emphasis is now on the intellectual sign of Gemini, a Mutable Air archetype. The prominence of the Mutable modality and the Air element is highlighting the importance of flexibility and adaptability, and bringing up the need to remain available to change our perspective and our strategy.

Solar Eclipses happen two to three times a year when the Moon forms a conjunction with the Sun while they are close to the Lunar Nodes, points in space marking the intersection of the orb of the Moon and the apparent path of the Sun from our perspective on Earth. The Moon travels between the Earth and the Sun, temporarily covering part of the Sun: the fact that, on Solar Eclipses, sunlight can’t reach us has been considered an omen of impending change since the beginning of time.

During an Annular Solar Eclipse, the remaining visible portion of the Sun looks like a ring around the Moon. The Solar Eclipse happening on June 10, 2021, will be at least partly visible from much of Europe, the Northern part of the US and Canada, as well as much of Asia, Northern and Western Africa, and the Arctic. To watch this cosmic event safely, we must protect our eyes with proper gear.

During Eclipse season, the veil between worlds becomes thinner: we have been traversing a portal of unpredictable transformation, a very karmic time in which everything is possible. Taking the time we need to integrate and digest the event taking place now is crucial: we can’t expect to have it all figured out yet. Welcoming any changes in our plans will help us adapt to what happens more peacefully.

Solar Eclipse conjunct the North Node in Gemini: New Learning Cycle

The Lunar Eclipse we experienced on May 26 was a Full Moon happening on the South Node, the point relative to our karmic past. It brought up a feeling of not knowing what to believe in anymore: many of us noticed a sensation of reliving the past in some way, as old fears, patterns, emotions, and behaviors resurfaced.

The Solar Eclipse in Gemini takes place while the Sun and the Moon are on the North Node of the Moon. This point, also referred to as Rahu in Vedic Astrology, correlates with our collective evolutionary direction, with the archetypal qualities we are encouraged to integrate as a way to move away from stagnation and past security attachments that aren’t supporting our growth any longer.

On this Eclipse, many of us are feeling confused and disillusioned: we are experiencing a lot of mental overwhelm and we crave clarity. However, nothing feels certain yet. While the Eclipse has the function of connecting us with our sense of purpose, we are likely to feel there is still something unresolved, and we may feel frustrated as we still have trouble thinking clearly and rationally.

Solar Eclipse conjunct Mercury & square Neptune: Clouded Perceptions

The Sun and the Moon are conjunct retrograde Mercury, and they are all in a square aspect to Neptune, the Master of Illusions. In particular, Mercury square Neptune has been going on since May 20, significantly clouding our perception of reality.

These alignments make it challenging to see things clearly and interpret what we experience in an objective and detached way. Neptune is a transcendental and spiritual planet, which tends to be perceived as vague and confusing. When Neptune is strongly active, it always increases our fantasy and leaves a lot of room for imagination, which can be good or bad.

The archetypal conflict between Gemini and Pisces is currently prominent: the rulers of the two signs, Mercury and Neptune, are both in their domicile and both in aspect to the Sun and the Moon. While Gemini tries to make sense of reality through logic and rationality, Pisces wants us to simply accept what is present and release all efforts to understand it.

The Moon square Neptune loosens our psychic and emotional boundaries: we may be more prone to absorbing other people’s emotions without realizing it, distinguishing what feelings are ours and which ones aren’t may be harder. This aspect reflects heightened sensitivity, receptivity, and impressionability.

The Sun square Neptune reflects confusion around our sense of purpose and the purpose of our experiences. At this point, we may not be able to understand the higher meaning of what we are going through, of the changes we are experiencing, of our growth process. Our self-confidence may suffer from it, and we may feel more insecure around putting ourselves out there or asserting our choices.

Retrograde Mercury square Neptune highlights feelings of disorientation. While Mercury seeks logical understanding, Neptune teaches us to surrender to forces beyond our control, improvise and flow with life rather than trying to make sense of it.

This aspect reminds us to trust our intuition, and that inspiration can come from unexpected places. Cutting distractions, spending time in stillness, connecting with Nature, and avoiding excessive use of technology will help us remain calmer and more centered, and cultivate faith in whatever life brings on our path.

New Moon Solar Eclipse in Gemini

New Moon Solar Eclipse trine Saturn: Discipline and Boundaries

The Sun, the Moon, and retrograde Mercury in Gemini are in a loose trine to Saturn in Aquarius, also in retrograde motion. Trines are supportive alignments that reflect an easy flow of energy between celestial bodies occupying signs of the same element, in this case, Air.

Retrograde Saturn in Aquarius promotes the process of questioning our current thinking and communication patterns. This transit supports us in restructuring the way we intellectually relate with and interpret reality and putting our ideas into discussion to see if they are still valid and useful.

Saturn helps us set boundaries relative to the information we take in and the amount and quality of social interactions we participate in, reminding us to choose the frequency we want to align with and not compromise on that. The trine between the Eclipse and Saturn facilitates healthy discipline and helps us avoid excessive distractions, to bring us closer to a deeper level of integrity and self-mastery.

Meanwhile, we are experiencing one of the peak moments of the signature transit of 2021. Saturn is forming a square aspect to Uranus in Taurus, which will be exact on June 14 but is already active. Their alignment corresponds to the need to deal with the resistance we encounter as we try to challenge the existing structure and build new ones that better resonate with our individuality. We may experience conflict with authority figures, and a sudden urge to break free from limitations may result in impulsive actions and unexpected confrontations.

New Moon Solar Eclipse in Gemini: Finding Peace amid Chaos

During these days, many of us are likely to notice a sense of dissonance between the ideas and beliefs we are attached to and the new information that is emerging, contradicting what we considered to be true, challenging something we have built a sense of security upon.

At this time, we are encouraged to be present with the feeling of not knowing and accept our current inability to make complete sense out of what we are experiencing, rather than trying to force the immediate resolution of situations that are causing discomfort. Uncovering lies may be a common experience, and feelings of disillusionment and deception may result.

The sense of blurriness and fogginess is likely to unravel and give space to more clarity after Mercury has stationed direct, on June 22, and especially after it completes its third square to Neptune, on July 7. Until then, the lesson is to find ways to connect to a sense of inner peace amid chaos and confusion. We are learning to navigate through possible misunderstandings by striving to be as authentic as possible, as honest as possible, both with ourselves and others.

Super Full Moon Total Lunar Eclipse in Sagittarius – Portal

On May 26, 07:13 AM ET, we experience a Super Flower Blood Moon, which is also a Full Moon Total Lunar Eclipse, happening at 5°25’ of the sign of Sagittarius and taking place on the South Node of the Moon.

The Total Lunar Eclipse will be visible from most of the Northern and Western parts of the United States, Western South America, Australia, New Zealand, and South-East Asia. Even if we live elsewhere and can’t observe the astronomical phenomena, we will definitely feel the effect of this rare cosmic alignment.

We are experiencing the third Supermoon in a row, an event that culminates a six-month cycle of evolution, which started in December 2020 with the Total Solar Eclipse in Sagittarius.

To celebrate the arrival of this Super Full Moon Total Lunar Eclipse, on May 26th at 9:45 PM ET, we are hosting Global Live Super Full Moon Total Lunar Eclipse Meditation on our YouTube channel. Eclipses: Omens of Fast & Radical Change

Eclipses happen when the Sun and the Moon conjoin or oppose each other on the Lunar Nodes, two points in space marking the intersection between the orbit of the Moon and the Ecliptic, the apparent path of the Sun from our perspective on Earth. Eclipses open portals of radical and fast transformation. In the past, they were considered omens of impending change and they were intensely feared, as the luminaries were blocked from providing light and energy to our planet.

Super Full Moon Total Lunar Eclipse in Sagittarius

Today, we know there is nothing to fear. However, Eclipse season does represent a delicate time of the year: it is a moment to pay particular attention to synchronicities, repeating patterns, messages and signs from the Universe. These cosmic events catalyze transformation by showing us where we are out of balance, what we need to work on, what to release, and what to focus on.

Lunar Eclipses: Supercharged Full Moons

Lunar Eclipses are supercharged Full Moons. They happen two or three times a year when Sun and Moon oppose each other while they are conjunct the Lunar Nodes, currently in the signs of Gemini and Sagittarius. The Earth aligns between Sun and Moon, totally or partially blocking the light of the Sun from reaching the Moon for a few hours.

This Lunar Eclipse in Sagittarius will be more intense than a regular Lunar Eclipse for two reasons. The first one is because it is a Total Eclipse, which means that the alignment between Sun, Moon, and the Lunar Nodes is tight, and the second one is because it is a Supermoon, so it is closer to Earth.

Full Moons reveal something to us, they bring us clarity, they shed light on subconscious material and give us a chance to unravel issues we haven’t been able to solve or untangle. On this Sagittarius Lunar Eclipse, the light of the Sun will be temporarily blocked from reaching the Moon, and we may notice a general sense of confusion and insecurity relative to how to interpret the events and circumstances taking place. This is exacerbated by the fact that both Mercury and Venus in Gemini are currently in a tense square alignment with Neptune in Pisces.

Full Moon Total Lunar Eclipse in Sagittarius: Releasing Old Beliefs & Being True to our Nature

This Lunar Eclipse is in the sign of Sagittarius and on the South Node of the Moon, the point in space relative to gifts and talents we bring with us from the past and to our karmic baggage. The South Node represents something we are very familiar with, and something we might excessively identify with. The North Node, now in Gemini, indicates our evolutionary direction and offers us a chance to achieve balance by integrating the opposite tendencies.

Sagittarius corresponds to our quest for meaning and our desire to give purpose to our life. It is the sign of the explorer, the adventurer, the philosopher, and the teacher. A Mutable, Yang, Fire archetype, Sagittarius learns from direct experience and intuition and loves to dive deep into cosmological, metaphysical, philosophical, and anthropological topics. Sagittarius reminds us to respect and honor Natural Laws while encouraging us to be authentic and spontaneous. This Total Lunar Eclipse in the sign of the Centaur is asking us to let go of whatever is holding us back from aligning with and being true to our nature.

Super Full Moon Total Lunar Eclipse in Sagittarius

All Eclipses happening on the South Node of the Moon bring up stuff from the past and reveal to us something we still need to understand and integrate. Being a Lunar Eclipse, it represents completion and maturation: its function is to encourage us to release past security attachments, old beliefs, assumptions, outdated ways of perceiving truth that are no longer relevant to our journey.

To help you harness this energy Super Full Moon Total Lunar Eclipse brings we have created Super Full Moon Total Lunar Eclipse printable channeled “Searching for Meaning” journal and guided meditation audio. We invite you to use these Super Full Moon Total Lunar Eclipse Ritual tools: journal and meditate together with Moon Omens Soul Family. Tap here to learn more and gain access to ritual tools.

Full Moon Total Lunar Eclipse square Jupiter: Navigating Crises of Faith

We are in a delicate time of transition, many things are happening in the world, and it can be hard to feel optimistic right now. We may struggle with clarity around our vision, our purpose, and our intentions. We may desire to do something good for humanity but don’t know where to start from or how. The old systems are collapsing, and new alternatives haven’t fully emerged yet. Eclipses usually bring things to a head, magnifying and exacerbating issues that were already boiling under the surface, revealing to us what was hidden and forcing us to deal with the full picture.

The Sun, the Moon, and the Lunar Nodes are forming a T-square aspect to Jupiter, ruler of the Lunar Eclipse and the South Node in Sagittarius. Squares are 90° angle reflecting friction and have the purpose of accelerating change.

Jupiter has recently entered the sign of Pisces, its traditional domicile. Jupiter feels very comfortable in Pisces: it increases our visionary capacity while promoting mental expansion, spiritual growth, and a general sense of dynamism.

The current square aspect between Jupiter and Sun, Moon, and Lunar Nodes can reflect a risk of overexpansion, excessive risktaking, and lack of discrimination relative to what we take in, chase, or fight for. During these days, it is important not to hold on too tightly to our belief system, and not to believe everything we hear, read, and see. We may experience confusion relative to our vision, as we are not sure anymore about what is true and what isn’t. This alignment may reflect a need to navigate through a crisis of faith and accept the feeling of not knowing what to believe in anymore.

Venus & Mercury square Neptune: Need for Discernment

As the Lunar Eclipse is taking place, Venus and Mercury in Gemini are in a square aspect to Neptune in Pisces. These alignments are highlighting the need to remain grounded and be particularly discerning of what we take in. As fake or distorted news is likely to spread, getting information from a variety of trusted sources is recommended, and so is taking care of how we invest our mental energy, attention, and focus.

While Mercury square Neptune may be associated with a sense of brain fog, blurriness, and confusion, Venus square Neptune reflects the potential for excessive idealism. A tendency to look at life with rose-colored glasses may manifest in our relationships and love life but also in our financial decisions, the choices we make, the agreements and contracts we may sign. Positively, these aspects support our romantic and spiritual inclinations, increasing our fantasy, imagination, and our capacity to find creative solutions to any challenge we may encounter.

The beautiful Water trine between Mars in Cancer and Neptune in Pisces represents a harmonic aspect that we can attune to in order to make tangible progress towards our dreams and remain devoted to our path. Mars trine Neptune gives us an opportunity to align our actions with our values and ideals, reminding us to be compassionate, elaborate our emotions in mature ways, and invest more energy in our spiritual practices.

Super Full Moon Total Lunar Eclipse in Sagittarius: Searching for Meaning

This Total Lunar Eclipse culminates a cycle that started in December 2020 with the Solar Eclipse in the sign of the Centaur. Reflect on what was happening in your life back then, recall the intentions you set, think about the situations that showed up for you, review the vision you wished to materialize, and acknowledge what changes have been taking place. At this point, you may witness the results of your efforts, reap some rewards, and have opportunities to blossom and grow into a wiser and more authentic version of yourself.

When Eclipses take place on the South Node of the Moon, we often have the feeling of reliving the past: the experiences that show up during these days have the purpose to help us integrate it and let it go. We have a chance to discover a new sense of direction by finding a new meaning for these experiences, making a conscious choice to close a chapter of our life and begin writing a new one.

Notice what is shifting in your belief system, in your vision, and your sense of purpose. The Lunar Eclipse in Sagittarius invites us to detach from the past to make space for the new. Embracing change, celebrating progress, and welcoming doubts will help us move towards deeper authenticity and root into the acceptance of the present moment.

Full Moon Lunar Eclipse in Capricorn – July 4th / July 5th 2020

Eclipse season finally comes to an end on July 5: at 12:44 AM EST, we experience the Full Moon Penumbral Lunar Eclipse in Capricorn, closing the gateway of transformation and change. This period of radical and sudden metamorphosis happens two times a year: the next portal is opening on December 14. Until then, we will be able to reflect and integrate the shifts that have been taking place since May.

We are witnessing the last Eclipse happening in Capricorn for a while. There won’t be another one in this sign until 18 years from now. This fact makes it even more relevant for us, as it represents a fantastic opportunity to close a karmic cycle and fully heal wounds we have been carrying for long.

Capricorn inspires us to let go of anything that’s not essential or useful for our growth, anything that is not practical, that doesn’t have a rational meaning, and lasting value.

A Lunar Eclipse is a Super Full Moon: she showers us with an incredible amount of light and power. She invites us to fully release what is weighing us down, what is preventing us from living life with a feeling of openness, from celebrating it with joy and spontaneity.

Full Moon Lunar Eclipse in Capricorn: Liberating Repressed Emotions

When the Moon transits through Capricorn, her expression becomes more challenging. The Moon is naturally ruled by Cancer, the opposite sign, which corresponds to a maternal, familiar, nurturing, and sensitive energy.

Capricorn is about going out there in the world and working on establishing ourselves in society, following the rules and regulations in place. This archetype, if distorted and brought to an extreme, leaves little room for consciously taking the time to feel our emotions and understand what they are trying to tell us.

The Eclipse inspires us to find a balance between personal time, self-care and family, and the energy we spend working on our goals and career.

Full Moon Lunar Eclipse in Capricorn

An issue that can often come up with the Moon in Capricorn is emotional repression. A risk could be focusing too much on being successful in our career as a way to feel good with ourselves, and in this process cutting ourselves off from our emotional needs.

We might feel the temptation of building walls between ourselves and others, instead of asking for help or expressing our true feelings. We may have problems verbalizing what’s happening even within ourselves.

During these days, while the energy is more powerful, notice if you end up in situations where you have the temptation of being judgmental and quick to discredit others: think if you have been unconsciously judging yourself in the same ways.

The Lunar Eclipse in Capricorn asks us to make a conscious effort to reconnect with our repressed emotions and release them. She gives us permission to feel and express them unapologetically, so we can let go of the burden of carrying them.

Moon in Capricorn trine Uranus in Taurus: Uncovering Unconscious Patterns

The harmonic trine between the Moon in Capricorn and Uranus in Taurus reflects the need to work consistently on our individuation process. Trines are aspects of flow: they connect planets transiting signs of the same element, in this case, Earth, and they allow an easy exchange of information between them.

The individuation process, as described by Carl Jung, is all about becoming aware of our unconscious patterns of behavior. Once we uncover our unconscious dynamics, they no longer have power upon us, and no longer control us. Only then we will be able to connect with our true Self and express it fully.

To find our purest individuality, we need to break free from what has been limiting us. The trine between Uranus in Taurus and the Moon in Capricorn encourages us to liberate ourselves from what makes us feel safe but doesn’t help us grow, from anything that doesn’t serve our highest purpose.

The energy of this Lunar Eclipse is encouraging us to become aware of the conditioning we received from our families. This Full Moon may bring up past issues that originated in our childhood, to allow us to fully process them, heal, and move forward.

To assist you and help you harness the energy this Full Moon Lunar Eclipse in Capricorn brings we have created tools (channeled guided meditation audio & channeled printable “Healing The Inner Father” journal). Not having witnessed a healthy expression of authority may block us when we try to establish ourselves in society, create boundaries in our relationships, or make a living doing something we love.

Whether you had a father figure or not, and whether or not he had a positive influence on you, we all have the opportunity to work with our Inner Father archetype. We invite you to use these ritual tools together with us and get one step closer to your personal freedom and personal mastery. Tap here or on the image below to access Ritual Tools & Insights.

The triggers that emerge during this time are likely to give us highly relevant information. When we notice that similar, repetitive patterns keep coming up in our lives, we have the opportunity to understand the deeper reason for them and break the karmic cycle.

Full Moon Lunar Eclipse in Capricorn: The Distortion of Capricorn

Capricorn, like Cancer, is a feminine archetype. Yet, we commonly associate it with a controlling, authoritarian vibe, which could be considered a masculine force. Pluto has been transiting this sign since 2008, bringing up all the shadows of Capricorn and forcing a change in how we feel and express its energy.

The Cancer-Capricorn polarity is considered the axis of security. While Cancer represents internal and emotional security, independent from external factors, Capricorn represents the security we derive from having a job, money in our bank account, and a certain social position.

Both of them are necessary but, collectively, we have gone a bit too far towards the Capricorn polarity, to the point that many people associate their sense of identity uniquely to having a social function, and don’t know who they are without it.

Greed and excessive ambition are other distorted expressions of the Capricorn archetype. If we realize we want more and more and we are never satisfied with what we get, we may want to reflect on the ways we could have internalized a feeling of lack and scarcity during our childhood.

Full Moon Lunar Eclipse in Capricorn

Pluto, Saturn, and Jupiter retrograde in Capricorn emphasize the necessity to let go of our old ways of thinking and perceiving life. Once we do it, we will be able to be reborn into real success, freedom, and a sense of security more linked to our inner state than to external conditions.

Figuring Out our Place in the World

The Eclipse invites us to reflect on the role we want to have in society, on how we want to bring our contribution to the world.

Capricorn reminds us that we need to know the practical steps to get there. We must also be aware of the duties and commitments that the role we choose implies. We should never forget to take into account the relationship between responsibility and power: Capricorn teaches us that one cannot exist without the other.

The presence of five retrograde planets at the time of this Eclipse is another indicator of the strong need for introspection and inner work, to consciously come into contact with our True Self. This process may include some sort of rebellion against what has been blocking our authentic expression.

The structure of our society often implies the need to sacrifice the expression of our authentic self for the illusion of security. How many of us have been working jobs they hate just to earn the bare minimum they need for survival?

Yet, if we reflect on how our past conditioning has influenced our patterns of behavior, we may realize that, more often than not, we unconsciously self-sabotage and limit ourselves more than any other external factor.

The Full Moon Lunar Eclipse in Capricorn is encouraging us to release the limiting beliefs and thought patterns that keep us stuck in a reality we hate.

Developing Personal Authority

Capricorn invites us to reflect on our relationship with discipline and rules, and to cultivate a strong sense of inner authority. The Eclipse supports us becoming confident in the direction we choose, in the choices we make, and in what we want to do, even if nobody else is doing it or has done it before.

During this process, we need to develop high standards of integrity and personal responsibility, take responsibility for our behaviors, as well as for the energy we put out in the world.

The energy of Capricorn, when expressed consciously, allows us to become the leader of our life, and to guide others on the same path. It invites us to provide for our own needs autonomously, to suggest and implement concrete solutions instead of focusing on problems and on what is missing.

The Lunar Eclipse in Capricorn is the best chance we get this year to release disempowering assumptions around ourselves and our capacities. She reminds us that we decide what we can and what we cannot do: whatever we choose to believe, we are usually right. When we develop a healthy relationship with this energy, we easily do what it takes every day to get closer to our goals and dreams.

As we learn to make and follow our own rules, we also become aware of the importance of taking care of our emotional, mental, physical and spiritual well-being. The Eclipse reminds us that taking time off and resting enough is key to increase our productivity and creativity.
