During its journey through Libra, Mercury is going to cross the lunar South Node, trine Jupiter in Gemini, square Mars in Cancer, oppose retrograde Chiron in Aries, and trine Pluto in Capricorn.

On September 29, Mercury crosses the South Node of the Moon in Libra while opposing the North Node in Aries. Around this time, we have an opportunity to become aware of communication and thinking patterns that keep us stuck in the past and perpetuate dysfunctional cycles. The Mercury-South Node conjunction invites us to release outdated ideas and assumptions, particularly about relationships, that prevent us from creating the reality we want to experience.

Mercury squares Mars in Cancer on October 6, urging caution in how we communicate. This aspect reminds us to avoid letting our emotions drive our words, avoid making decisions when we feel triggered, and make sure we express our thoughts from a grounded rather than reactive place.

On October 8, Mercury in Libra opposes retrograde Chiron in Aries and trines Jupiter in Gemini. The Mercury-Chiron opposition brings to the surface old wounds and unresolved past pain related to communication, learning, and the feeling of being unheard, misunderstood, or silenced, particularly in relationships. However, the Mercury Jupiter trine supports our healing and growth, helping us transmute our pain into wisdom.

On October 13, just hours before entering Scorpio, Mercury at 29º Libra squares Pluto at 29º Capricorn. The activation of the 29º intensifies the friction of this square and marks a time of critical adjustments.
